browns always play us tough. i hope manziel starts that game. i am confident pees could come up with a game plan to force him into turnovers. if flacco can connect on at least 1 deep pass to givens against the brown stains it will open things up for the run game and play action moving forward

looks like we have 4 skilled te's on this team that is if pitta is cleared to play mid season. trestman will have to figure out a way to get all of these guys involved during the game. i have been very critical of brown and aiken but admit aiken showed signs of life. hopefully he can become consistent with his play. at his age sss is not built for a full game of reps. the fo must bring in a down field threat asap so he can start to learn the playbook and get reps with flacco these next 2 weeks and hopefully see playing time for the sf game in 2 weeks. like to see maxx williams line up as a slot receiver more often when gilmore returns. 2 te sets more often. have fun with it trestman, think of it as an art project. tinker with it in practice

would like to see kyle "juice" get some carries. the kid weighs 248lbs and has descent speed.

yes we are grateful for the win but if the steelers had a descent kicker than we are 0-4. fake fg was an awful call. never leave points behind. 10 days to heal up and hopefully sign a deep threat receiver that will help open up the offense and give it more of a balance. i was impressed with the defense but pees must play the cb's closer to the line and not give the receivers 10 yards of cushion. pass rush must be more consistent.

trestman is a quality off coord in my opinion. he is still feeling this team out and in his defense not having a deep threat or a reliable #3/4 receiver limits him on what he can call. the o-line not creating running lanes and allowing too much pressure on flacco plays into it as well. im willing to give this season to trestman and will give my performance evalution of him at the end of the season. hope he pans out for the sake of continuity

People need to stop saying our WRs can't get open. Including that has-been Phil Simms. Last night when Joe was sacked, I believe for the third time, that numnuts said no one was open and I believe one WR was open on the left side of the field down the sideline when he showed video to prove, but it didn't, his point. What we as fans can't see during the game is the whole field. When you look at the coach's tape you see people open. Not all the time but most of the time. 

 

The problem in my humble opinion is a lack of rapport and timing. Joe and the "rest" of the WRs need to develop those. Too many years have gone by in which the pass plays have homed in on one WR-- enough of that crap spread the dang ball around.

i will admit that aiken came to life a little bit in the 2nd half and made some plays. marlon brown in his 3rd season had 2 measly receptions and has basically taken up a roster spot and camponaro will probably be out several weeks because he is built out of napkins. sss is awesome but he is 36 and it has been proven these past 2 games that his body cannot handle a full game of reps. he needs to have breathers during the game which is fine. he was brought here to help stabalize the receiving corps not to be the #1 guy here. the fo needs to try free agents out this week or make a trade for a quality wr.

tucker is awesome and clutch but man i hope his agent does not ask for a new salary that is ridiculous and will hurt us in signing players we need to fill holes next season. his agent will ask that he is the highest paid kicker in the league but i hope tucker is more than fair with what he truly wants.

brian roberts miss over a season due to a concussion. lets give monroe the benefit of the doubt but when he is cleared he better kick some tail

kubiaks running game is avg. 2.8 yards per carry i believe so he is having issues as well. our problem is with no deep threat or other receivers stepping up defenses are stacking playing an extra man in the box and aside from sss the other receivers are not getting open quickly enough to take advantage. good luck tonight ravens and hope we pull it out

i know you are talking about him and if he was that good why isnt he on some teams roster. we need to trade for a better receiver than what we have. who knows how long perriman will be out and there is no guarantee he improves our situation by that point in the season. we need help now

Daniel Brown is on the street right now. Hoping for a shot in the NFL. I say Ozzie give it to him, what else do we have to lose with this WR bunch we have. Outside of Steve Smith & Marlon Brown, we have nobody to punch back at the defense. And he can block!!!
