looking at 2017- perriman, chris moore, wallace, aiken(ufa) probably gone, camponaro and this guy vince mayle? this group does not strike fear into any defense. no clue how the front office has struggled to draft and develop receivers. im sure they will sign a broken down victor cruz and draft another aaron mallette that will get cut in training camp. happy new year you all!!

Beefing already and this season isn't over yet. Geez just please stop the griping until draft or training camp. Then you can gripe to your heart's content. You kinda remind me of Crusader. Are you related? LOL.

    season is already over

  3. pees has been around for a long time and is a good coordinator but he does not have the killer instinct. including the superbowl which was almost blown the defense under pees has blown several games with the lead in the 4th qtr. no way should pittsburgh have scored 3 td's in the 4th qtr. including the last drive with about a minute left. im sure he will be back but i personally feel it is time to move on. pagano if he is canned, todd bowles if canned, gus bradley could be options.

John seems to make injury status a very high priority and injuries a mystery. News Flash, Nobody is afraid of this Ravens team anymore and the Offense & Defense is predictable. Ravens lost by 8 points to a 4-11 Team. So who are you protecting the Fantasy Sports, Bookies? This is just strange because Brian B never did that.

Agree, time to cut Dumerville and save 6mil in cap

to try and keep b. williams they will have to cut him.

I say we bring back Rex Ryan. We can say whatever we ant about Dean Pees having the #5 defense in the NFL- what does it mean if we cannot count on him when we need to?

Over the past two years our defense under Pees has shown that Bend but don't Break ALWAYS breaks at the wrong time and that NO lead is safe.

    2015
Week 1 The Broncos rally with 28 seconds left to beat us 19-13
Week 2. The Raiders rally behind Derek Carr to score the game winner with 26 seconds left leading the Raiders to a 37-33 win
Week 3. The Ravens blow a 14 point 4th quarter lead to the Bengals losing 28-24
Week 5. Jsoh McCown throws for 400 yards to come from behind and tie the came with seconds left and then leads a scoring drive to victory in over us in OT giving them a 33-30 win
Week 6. The 49ers and Kapernick hits a 51 yard pass to ABoldin and then a 21 yarder to Q Patton to lead the 49ers to a 4th quarter victory over us 25-20

Week 9. The Jags win on the last play of the game with a Jason Myers FG for a 22-20 victory over us

Week 13. Dolphins score two TDs in under a minute to beat the Ravens 15-13
Week 14 and 15 were blowouts losing to the Seahawks and Chiefs 35-6 and 34-14 respectively

Week 17 we saw Andy Dalton throw two 4th quarter TD passes to rally the Bengals past the Ravens 24-16

    2016
Week 4. DCarr throws 4 TD passes including his final TD pass to Michael Crabtree to Rally the Raiders to a 28-27 victory in BMORE

Week 5. The Skins take the lead on a 50 yard drive in the fourth quarter (perriman later drops a TD pass in a comeback attempt but another 4th quarter comeback sinks us)

Week 6. Giants use a 75 yard 2nd half TD pass and then a 66 yarder to Odell Beckham with 1:24 left in the 4th to beat us 27-23

Week 7. The Jets send Ryan Fitzpatrick in for injured Geno Smith and Fitz leads the woeful Jets to 3 second half TDs for a 24-16 victory over us

Week 11. The Cowboys see rookie Dak Prescott lead them to 14 second half points to come from behind an beat us 27-17

Week 14. The Patriots see us rally and seize control of momentum heading into the 4th quarter only to give up an 80 yard TD pass to Chis Hogan sealing our fate with a 30-23 loss to the Pats.

Week 16. The Sqeelers erased a 14 point fourth quarter lead and scored 24 of their 31 points in the 2nd half (including 21 in the fourth quarter)

Pees bend but don't break philosophy doesn't work bc it ALWAYS breaks at the worst opportune movements. That has happened in 15 of our 17 loses over the past two years. (and BTW if we look at 2014 it is just as bad). That is a big enough sample. Pees should go. (I wouldn't mind bringing Rex back) but Rex or not - Pees got to go or it will be more of the same in 2017!

nice work!! but i do not feel ryans foot fetish ways will mesh with harbs biblical ways plus i dont think rex would want to come back to a team that by passed him for the hc job 9 years ago. we shall see what harbs decides to do but you should email him this post of yours

The Greek... you may be right but my post was more about the need for Pees to be on his way out then Rex to be on his way in. I really don't care if it is Rex or whoever... but I really hope it is not Pees

    agreed

  6. Steve Smith needs 235 yards for 1,000 yards.
The Ravens Single Game Record for Receptions is 13.
This game is meaningless besides being SSS last game.

Let's THROW HIM THE DANG BALL so he can go out as a 1,000 yard WR who set the Ravens Single Game Record in his last game. I want to see a 15-240-1 line.

Can't think of a more fitting tribute for a player who defines & exemplifies what it means to "Play Like A Raven"

would not surprise me if that is the game plan for sunday. get him the ball as much as possible.

  8. "help from the front office" that has been the biggest problem imo plus some untimely injuries. need to do what it takes to fix what ails us and that has been cb and a big hard hitting safety. we also need a consistent receiver that can take over games(maybe that is perriman but i will believe it when i see it), suggs replacement and a dominant center. sure it is not easy to fill all of the needs in one offseason but imo the secondary and center need to be addressed. hopefully correia judon kaufusi z man will improve and suggs/doom stay healthy to buy us a year until 2018 draft.

  9. You know the old saying, only when you die do you know how much people really loved you. Kind of the "Its a Wonderful Life Premise." Well, PFT has beaten up the Ravens all year, said nasty things about them, said bad things about Flacco but funny enough, in that vein, PFT's last power rankings had this to say about the Ravens, "17. Ravens (8-7; No. 15): Making their playoff exit even more painful is the fact that the Ravens could have made it to the Super Bowl."

Yes, and I think had we we held the Steelers, had Mosley, Orr and Weddle had the drive to keep Antonio Brown out of the endzone, we could have been a Super Bowl team. With the loss of only a few players this off season and perhaps another quality draft and perhaps a legitimate #1 free agent receiver, we could really be a powerhouse next year. But lets not forget, had we won that Steelers game, I think we would have gone all the way, and people were counting on it.

with miami and the raiders losing their qb's and hopefully a chiefs upset over the patriots the road to the sb could have possibly been there. oh well hopefully the right moves are made and we can challenge next season.

  10. if pagano and todd bowles are fired. would either of them or gus bradley be an improvement over dean pees? i agree that rex would not come back here. defense gave up too many 4th qtr leads. they were not bad but i believe the statistics were padded because we played a lot of poor offenses. could not generate pressure on the qb's in crunch time. cb/pass rush must be addressed yet once again. z smith was inactive pretty much the last half of the season and correia was useless. judon showed promise but suggs and doom will be even slower next season. harbs job will depend on him finding the right oc and not sabotaging him with ridiculous 4th down calls when we have the best kicker in football. 2 of the losses fall on harbs because of his stupid 4th down calls. aside from norv turner i am not too sure who is out there that can turn this offense around but this team will have to find him. some of the position coaches on offense should be evaluated and replaced if needed. i personally am not a fan of castillo. the line has not been smash mouth since he has been here. this team needs guys with attitude on both sides of the ball and instead of stockpiling picks and drafting players that we will cut in camp pkg them so we can move up and grab some game changers. enough with the safe picks. perriman, williams, urban, davis, correia, z smith etc.. etc.. have to show up next season.

How about trading or releasing Jimi Smith! Always hurt and not that good of a player! Has not proven a thing all year. We need new cornerbacks with desire and J Smith does not have it!

The guy proved that without him on the field, we are a badly ranked secondary.  With him on the field, we win games.

i agree we are better when he plays but he has had one healthy season i believe which does not help us. front office has known this for several years now and have not fixed the issue. maybe now they have gotten the message after watching this defense the past 3 weeks

Chicken Little Baltimore fans. Still rearin' their loser heads: "Fire Harbs. Joe blows. Can't watch this team anymore. Yadda yadda yadda."

Sack up, son. You look pathetic.

Harbs should be Fired He is horrible clock management ,Horrible game time adjustments ,doesn't use personnel correct ,does not know when to run or when to pass, when I sit on my couch and call the plays im pretty sure other coaches also know and last but not least Missed Playoffs 3 out of Last 4 Years where else can you work and Stink 3 out of 4 years and still have a Job

8 and 8, 10 and 6 and maybe 9 and 7 isn't stinking up the joint. If somebody said last year that we would go 6 and 2 at home and maybe 5 and 1 in the AFC North this year, I would of been Psyched. The 4 game losing streak in October was too much to overcome.

And bad coaching was the main reason why we lost 4 in a row Its called run the Damn ball

also going for it on 4th when in fg range cost us
