matt elam i believe was the highest rated safety in the draft and he fell to us. i cannot blame the fo for drafting him. he was actually descent his rookie year and showed signs that he would be the real deal. his 2nd season he was playing out of position and it showed plus he was lazy when it came to fundamental tackling techniques. i am not ready to give up on him yet but his failed test for substance abuse should be a concern to the team. look at the idiots like justin blackmon and josh gordon who could not stay away from the crap long enough to have solid nfl careers. hope elam gets the help he needs to become the player we expected him to be

they should start marcel jones at LT and see what he can offer. we need a mauler like ogden at LT to open up the running game and give flacco more time. monroe needs to get things together

ed reed would be a huge upgrade over the secondary bozos (coaches) we have now. these 2 guys are clueless.

hurst is a quality backup who will improve but he is not a long term solution at LT. if he isnt traded we can only hope monroe turns things around

sure we need to upgrade at receiver but when drafting in the top 5 you have to grab that LT or pass rusher. if they could trade monroe that would be fantastic

need to be aggressive and to have all 11 guys on the same page. know how to read offenses and to read players tendencies. this defense does not attack as they sit back and give 10-12 yard cushions to the receivers and wait till the rb had gained 3-5 yards instead of attacking the gap. need a def coord and defensive secondary coaches that are better. i still like ted monachino to be promoted to dc or go after jim schwartz. pagano has said indy will be his last coaching job so he is not an option.
