I have always been a Flacco fan. He progressed nicely in his career, peaking at the SuperBowl. However, since then he has stalled and is now regressing. I know there are lots of excuses, OL, running game, etc.; but even with that, he should now be at a stage where he can carry the team. It used to bother me that he just sat on the bench while the defense was on the field. Now it is maddening. Brady, Brees, others study pictures of what the defense is doing; even though their heads are full already of what the defense is trying to do. They still believe they can learn more. It's like he does not want to be great; like he is satisfied where he is. At this stage in his career, he should know how to draw the other team off sides. I don't think i have ever seen him successfully do that. He should be fooling people with a quick count. He should be seeing the defense and calling changes that are effective. I don't know if he needs a really good QB coach or Tony Robbins. he needs jim zorn.

In addition to all those things what boggles me is his inability to change blocking schemes on run plays, or just change out of the play if nothing else seems doable. There were at least 4 runs yesterday that Flacco sent just straight up into unblocked defenders. He didn't even change the way of the run. I mean, how are RBs supposed to get any yards when they run into the direction of an unblocked LB?! How is it possible that Flacco does not see it at the line of scrimmage? Or does he just not care? Or is he purposely sabotaging our run game?? purposely sabotaging the run game? now that is funny. thanks for the laugh

grateful for the win but the offense especially flacco needs to improve. receivers are still struggling to get separation and the routes being run on certain yardage situations make no sense whatsoever. i was happy to see marty stick with the running game even though there were not many running lanes available. harbs needs to make sure this team stays motivated for the browns game or they will get their 1st win of the season. keep grinding and the offense will get to where it needs to be

no excuses needed. flacco is the issue thus far. should have kept mallett in the rest of the game

i agree about norv. he should be hired as a consultant and if marty is not the guy by seasons end than make the switch. the ? is does norv even want to coach any longer.

i believe elam will help improve the secondary if used properly and i also hope decosta takes over as lead gm in the draft room. oz has been an awesome raven but these past 8 drafts and poor free agent signings aside from a couple of players have not improved the team.

we need you to be the player we envisioned when you were drafted. i will give you a game or so to get acclimated but after that i hope you shut it down in the secondary. good luck!!

hope this kid works out for us because the secondary is avg. as it is and a j. smith injury away from being horrendous but this is looking like more dumpster diving by the ozzie.

not having gilmore will hurt with blocking. he is the only good blocking te we have until boyle returns.

as an oc he is very good. as a hc he struggled. i will take norv turner the oc.

we will win sunday whether ben plays or not. i feel this team will play with a sense of urgency and will get it done and please hire norv turner as a consultant for the rest of the season to put pressure on marty.

the fo is better off trading the draft picks for proven players. 2nd rd. picks since 2009. 09-kruger, 10-kindle&cody, 11-torrey smith, 12-osemele, 13-arthur brown, 14-jernigan, 15-max williams, 16-correia. we have had (9) 2nd rd. picks since 2009 and only 3 are on the roster with max and correia being ? as far as production. jernigan has been solid and osemele should have been resigned because he was a high draft pick that was dominant. 3rd rd picks since 2009. 09-webb, 10-dickson, 11-jah reid, 12-bernard pierce, 13-brandon williams, 14-brooks&gilmore, 15-carl davis, 16-bronson kafusi. out of (9) 3rd rd. picks since 2009 only webb and b. williams have produced. gilmore, davis need to get going soon and kaufusi we shall see when he is ready. 4th and 5th rd picks have found some production with the 6th&7th rounders being useless which make me wonder why we do not pkg the 4th to 7th rd picks to move up into the 1st and 2nd rds and draft better talent. need to resign players that produce in our system and b. willams is one of those guys and again osemele should have been resigned. fo needs to resign our studs and stop overpaying for stop gap players.

If Mallet was that good he would be starting somewhere even Cleveland How did you feel when Mallet beat the squeelers in a Ravens uniform? ! Simple question! i felt great when tony banks and kyle boller won games. even the great chris redman won a game. mallett is a quality backup and glad we have him but he is no savior. i will say it is time for the fo to draft a qb to develop but flacco has quality years left and they will turn it around but it will have to be a complete team effort to make it happen and it would be nice if the injuries gave the team a break
