looking at 2017- perriman, chris moore, wallace, aiken(ufa) probably gone, camponaro and this guy vince mayle? this group does not strike fear into any defense. no clue how the front office has struggled to draft and develop receivers. im sure they will sign a broken down victor cruz and draft another aaron mallette that will get cut in training camp. happy new year you all!!

pees has been around for a long time and is a good coordinator but he does not have the killer instinct. including the superbowl which was almost blown the defense under pees has blown several games with the lead in the 4th qtr. no way should pittsburgh have scored 3 td's in the 4th qtr. including the last drive with about a minute left. im sure he will be back but i personally feel it is time to move on. pagano if he is canned, todd bowles if canned, gus bradley could be options.

Agree, time to cut Dumerville and save 6mil in cap to try and keep b. williams they will have to cut him.

pees does not have the killer instinct as a dc. the defense of 2000 would have gotten even nastier in the 4th qtr.. he goes into safe mode when he has a lead. hope he is replaced

start mallett and start every young player on the roster. right now we have the 17th pick in the draft which is not good enough to draft a top cb/pass rusher. losing will put us in better position. forget pride. lets not risk stupid injuries to our more valuable players in a meaningless game.

i cannot see harbs replacing both coordinators. he needs too imo but pees will most likely remain unless he is ready to retire. would like to see us go after gus bradley or pagano if he gets canned by the colts. not sure if norv turner would be a good fit here but he would be an improvement over trestman and marty.

"help from the front office" that has been the biggest problem imo plus some untimely injuries. need to do what it takes to fix what ails us and that has been cb and a big hard hitting safety. we also need a consistent receiver that can take over games(maybe that is perriman but i will believe it when i see it), suggs replacement and a dominant center. sure it is not easy to fill all of the needs in one offseason but imo the secondary and center need to be addressed. hopefully correia judon kaufusi z man will improve and suggs/doom stay healthy to buy us a year until 2018 draft.

marvin will get another hc job quickly or within a year so it would not make sense to bring him in. pagano,, bowles if fired and bradley would be ideal imo

with miami and the raiders losing their qb's and hopefully a chiefs upset over the patriots the road to the sb could have possibly been there. oh well hopefully the right moves are made and we can challenge next season.

with the way the front office has drafted since 09' they should use every pick in the draft on cb's and pray some of them pan out and stay healthy. hehehe

hope we keep west as well. i like the combo of the 2 but would like to see dixon be the lead dog of the pack. like to see juice get some carries as well

if pagano and todd bowles are fired. would either of them or gus bradley be an improvement over dean pees? i agree that rex would not come back here. defense gave up too many 4th qtr leads. they were not bad but i believe the statistics were padded because we played a lot of poor offenses. could not generate pressure on the qb's in crunch time. cb/pass rush must be addressed yet once again. z smith was inactive pretty much the last half of the season and correia was useless. judon showed promise but suggs and doom will be even slower next season. harbs job will depend on him finding the right oc and not sabotaging him with ridiculous 4th down calls when we have the best kicker in football. 2 of the losses fall on harbs because of his stupid 4th down calls. aside from norv turner i am not too sure who is out there that can turn this offense around but this team will have to find him. some of the position coaches on offense should be evaluated and replaced if needed. i personally am not a fan of castillo. the line has not been smash mouth since he has been here. this team needs guys with attitude on both sides of the ball and instead of stockpiling picks and drafting players that we will cut in camp pkg them so we can move up and grab some game changers. enough with the safe picks. perriman, williams, urban, davis, correia, z smith etc.. etc.. have to show up next season.

The guy proved that without him on the field, we are a badly ranked secondary. With him on the field, we win games. i agree we are better when he plays but he has had one healthy season i believe which does not help us. front office has known this for several years now and have not fixed the issue. maybe now they have gotten the message after watching this defense the past 3 weeks

i do not want tavon covering tall/big physical receivers. we need another tall cb. tavon is perfect for the smaller guys

Harbs should be Fired He is horrible clock management ,Horrible game time adjustments ,doesn't use personnel correct ,does not know when to run or when to pass,when I sit on my couch and call the plays im pretty sure other coaches also know and last but not least Missed Playoffs 3 out of Last 4 Years where else can you work and Stink 3 out of 4 years and still have a Job 8 and 8, 10 and 6 and maybe 9 and 7 isn't stinking up the joint. If somebody said last year that we would go 6 and 2 at home and maybe 5 and 1 in the AFC North this year, I would of been Psyched. The 4 game losing streak in October was too much to overcome. And bad coaching was the main reason why we lost 4 in a row Its called run the Damn ball also going for it on 4th when in fg range cost us

restructuring older players contracts to free up $$ has burned us and kept us from keeping some of the younger guys here that were on the rise.
