I cant think of one movie that was better than the book that spawned it. Its impossible. Books make your brain work.
If I'm not mistaken, the Forrest Gump book is absolutely terrible.
Avengers is getting great reviews.
Yes it has, and I hope it's as good as it's hyped up to be (it's rocking a 97% on Rotten Tomatoes right now with a 100% from actual critics). I'm going to see it after finals are over on Friday, and to say I'm excited to watch Downey Jr. in the role he was born to play is an understatement. I'm a huge Joss Whedon fan too, and I'd love to see him achieve the monetary success that this movie will bring. Yes, he made some money off of Buffy but something like this can take his career to a whole nother level. Still, nothing will bring back Firefly.
I finally watched Star Trek II: The Wrath of Khan last night. It was good, but it wasn't even close to Star Trek XI good.
Speaking of Leo, has anyone seen the new version of Titanic yet? I really want to go
If the 3D was well done I would be tempted to go see it, although I don't care for that movie. James Cameron is the only one I trust to do 3D at the moment, at least of the directors interested in 3D. If this does well there is the remote possibility that he converts something good, like Aliens or Terminator.
Not a cat photo but thought this was pretty hilarious.
Someone is a fan of Sizzle on Facebook. He's been posting some gems lately.
I saw the new Sherlock Holmes and it was amazing. The story is much better than the original with the same great characters. The addition of Stephen Fry was fantastic.

I've got my Avengers tickets for Friday already. It'll be a great way to celebrate the end of the semester.
