You must not have seen The Avengers. I don't watch movies in 3D anymore, most are upconverted and add nothing to the movie. The only movie I felt was worth seeing in 3D was Avatar, and that's because James Cameron specifically designed the cameras and everything else about the movie to be 3D. If the technology was utilized correctly all the time, as it was in that movie, I might not consider it a waste of money. Regardless, movies are about story and should stand on their own. I checked out Silver Linings Playbook, I'd give it 4 out of 5 stars. Quite good, Jennifer Lawrence was excellent as she always is. I'd call her the best actress of her generation, but that's really an insult considering she's going against people like Kristen Stewart. On the movie, it was the best mental illness I've seen in a very very long time. If you're put off by the dance thing, that's actually a rather small part of the movies. It's more about this dude's relationships with people. And it was good to see Chris Tucker again.
