  1. 3rd round pick for Alshon with the conditions that we work out a long term deal with his agent before the trade goes through. Yeah our main problem is on defense but it's more so about continuity, chemistry, and lack of a pass rush. No SSS next year and Perriman is still an unknown it actually makes sense on our end, just depends how much Chicago wants and if Alshon would sign an immediate extension, probably won't happen for one of those reasons

I agree, it's a big commitment and certainly a deal that would take at least a week to materialize because it's not just a trade but also a contract negotiation. I think Chicago will hold onto Forte and Alshon unless a team knocks their socks off. It would likely take a pair of 2nd round picks or something in that neighborhood now that I'v put more thought into it.

No thanks, keep the pick and take a receiver next draft, theres no reason to just assume Aiken will be our #2 going into next season, especially considering how bad he's been in a starting role this year. Jeffrey is good but has injury issues and I'm sure the Bears could get a better deal than the third for him. Not to mention we'd have to package some players to even keep his new deal under cap, so who are we selling off to get him? I doubt Jeffery will be moved any time soon.

Jeffery is not being traded unless they get offered a 1st. He's young and they'd love to draft a young QB and surround him w/ Jeffery and White.

  2. Am I a bad fan for hoping we bomb the rest of the season at this point? We need a big draft this year, we won't have much to spend on FA's so I'd rather we be a better team long term than win meaningless games this year, Bosa or Ramsey are game changers with tiny cap hits, Ozzie could even trade and get multiple 1st rounders

Exactly lets go 2-14 but both wins vs Steelers just to say you suck

Totally talking nonsense here so don't take me seriously but what if Goff ends up being A-Rod or Peyton and the player we pick doesn't pan out? Ouch lol

Could you imagine to have the #1 overall pick?? And Goff lights it up?? BTW my friend, you are not bad for wanting us to go 1-15 or 2-14. Is not the ultimate goal a Superbowl?? My opinion I don't care if you go 1-15 or 14-2!! If you do not win the championship it is a bust!! And a better draft pick means better players for a championship run. So no, you are among the more intelligent fans who can see the big picture. This team needs to reload. The elite players got old and...

  3. Been openly hoping we lose out at this point for a top 5 pick but I can't deny that it felt good watching this team get a W.

  4. Colts have fired Pep Hamilton after his units poor performance leading to a 3-5 start (After AFCC appearance last year). Yet here we are, Dean Pees still has a job at 2-6, Harbs get's too buddy-buddy with his staff, be professional and do what's best for the team

Basically it like Brian Billick in reverse an offensive genius who never had an offense as a coach but when the GM/ owner ignore that side of the ball that is what happens. I will gladly take Pagano back here instead of Ean no D Pees

Luck's influence to bring in Pep has no barring on his performance as an OC in the eyes of the front office. Gruden even grilled Pep's situational playcalling on MNF after running Ahmad Bradshaw straight into Carolina's nasty front 7 on consecutive 3rd and intermediate situations.

    4. rmcjacket23

      rmcjacket23

Actually, it has a GIGANTIC influence. In reality, the opinion of Luck is arguably the ONLY thing that matters, because he's the only thing that matters in regards to that franchise. The GM is replaceable, and the coach is certainly replaceable.

I could care less whether Gruden grills playcalling or not, because his opinion doesn't matter. There's 32 OC's in this league who's play calling is questioned by numerous people on a weekly basis. There's people sti...

  5. Drafting Tray Walker and Z'Darius Smith over Stefon Diggs who we had the privilege of scouting extensively in our own backyard *claps* well done front office

I said all along Diggs may not be quite the player Cooper is but he is in the same league.

Geography does matter when it comes to mid/late round drafting. We likely had a local scout at every single UMD home game and other teams might send a national scout for maybe 1 or 2 UMD games the whole year. We had a more extensive look at Diggs than basically every other team and still passed him up with 3 picks at the end of the 4th, a luxury many teams that had their eye on him didn't have.

Actually it does take three years to grasp a player I don't know where you guys get your info at but I guess some people have crystal and can see the future.

  6. Fact that we lost to such a pathetic 49ers team after watching them on TNF is proof we're a shoe in for a top 10 pick

  7. Jason La Canfora reporting we might have interest in trading for Roddy White, love that fit, only question is what we have to give up

The $5.6M number doesn't apply to us, because the Falcons eat all of the bonus amounts they paid him.

His base salary for 2015 is $2.2M, and I believe we'd only be on the hook (cap wise and cash wise) for the prorated portion of that amount.

So if we made a trade for him today, I believe we'd be on the hook for $1.65M in cap hit in 2015

    3. redlobster

      redlobster

Correct, I didn't see the bonus portion but either way that's above the cap space the ravens have and he is another aging WR.

    4. rmcjacket23

      rmcjacket23

Sure, but in theory, he's a Steve Smith replacement (relatively cheap at about $3M for next two seasons) and you'd probably only need to cut on guy off the top 51 in order to make the cap space work

Don't think its going to happen though.

  8. Just watched some highlights of Flacco from the Mason/Heap and Torrey/Boldin era, dang can he sling the rock when he has actual weapons. The TE's are promising, we just need serious help at WR, it's too bad there isn't a premiere WR in the draft this year like Amari Cooper from last year

  9. One step closer to Ramsey/Hargreaves/Bosa

  10. Steve Smith hit the nail on the head a few weeks when he was overheard saying "Some of em just like being on the team!". We come out like we're expecting to lose, guys who got contracts don't play hungry anymore, all while Brady who has more money/rings than all of em is playing his heart out at age 38.. we're soft this year man, draft guys that want to WIN

Good point. I loathe Cry Baby, but you can't deny his performance on the field.

  12. YAYYYY! Now Pees won't get fired and we're killing our prime draft position, great win -_-

Chargers were playing nobodies on their OL and the defense still couldn't get consistent stops.

Which should speak volumes about the inconsistent execution of the players than to Pees. When Doom, Jernigan, and Davis aren't generating a good pass rush against that line, there's trouble.

      sflegend89

If we lose yesterday there's a good chance Pees is fired today, the win really just pumped life back into Pees job security and not our season

  13. Keenan Reynolds might be the next Julian Edelman, he looked sharp.

  14. Merry Draftmas Eve Everyone!

  15. We didn't make the sexiest picks but we got guys that play like Ravens, hyped about this draft class.
