  1. Which 7 or 8 Receivers do yall think will make the 53 man roster?

    1. sflegend89

      sflegend89

We'll only keep 6. SSS, Wallace, Aiken, Perriman, Campanaro, Moore

  2. i thought they drafted good players but i don't see any of them making a big impact, disappointing really. I would have given up Ronnie Staley and Bronson for Jalen Ramsey, an actual playmaking difference maker with immediate impact.

I agree, good draft, but we dropped the ball by not trading for Ramsey

  3. What is your take on this prediction?

    6. (PROPOSED TRADE) New York Jets (from Baltimore Ravens) – Jared Goff, QB,

    1. sflegend89

      sflegend89

We aren't trading back now that the Rams moved up. We're guaranteed Tunsil, Ramsey, Bosa, Jack, or Buckner. All great picks at 6.

  4. Please God.. No Derrick Henry. I will be the first to call for Ozzie's head

      sflegend89

Agreed. Henry is a classic college star who doesn't translate to the NFL

  5. Hate to see the Panthers in the SB: Cam is arrogant & a show boater, the defense is dirty & gets away with it & it is going to suck for SSS. Go Denver!

    1. sflegend89

      sflegend89

I don't get why people hate Cam, the guy just likes having fun with it. Funny how the best players in any sport always seem to get labeled as arrogant, it takes a lot of self belief to reach the peak of any sport and that get's misinterpreted as arrogance a lot.

  6. ARIvsDEN is my prediction and do you gentleman think Ozzie uses 6 overall on a LT?

  8. Is Bosa worth moving up for? I'm guessing it would take next years first and a mid round pick.

Steve Smith Sr talks more than Ramsey does on the field, that's just how some guys are wired.. Jalen is a type A personality, I think we could use some of that on defense in all honesty. Above all he's a damn good football player, that's really what it comes down to at the end of the day. I would be thrilled to come out of this draft with Ramsey.

  9. This upcoming draft is probably the most important one in recent memory. With the Steelers continuing to improve this draft has to produce quality starters

    1. sflegend89

      sflegend89

Agreed, while it may not be a stacked draft class our drat position should put us in position to get some studs in the first couple rounds.

Nah, he's not even a scheme fit for us. Better as a 4-3 DE. Great prospect but not worth mortgaging our future over when a good talent will still fall to us at #6.

  11. I think Chip Kelly going to the 49ers changes things a bit as it pertains to the draft. I think he may stick with Kaep (which I think is a big mistake) because Kelly will stay with his high tempo offense and Kaepernick can run, that hasn't changed. In the draft that changes things because they may not target a QB.

    1. sflegend89

      sflegend89

True but they pick behind us and teams don't know what they will do, if somebody really wants a QB they're better off not risking the Niners passing on Goff/Lynch

  12. Alabama had to win the championship didn't they? I can see it now. With the Sixth overall Pick in the NFL Draft.. The Ravens Select, A'Shawn Robinson DT Alabama.

Don't like Henry at all, he's not even that physical for how ridiculously big he is. Seen him go down from arm tackles and never seen him run someone over.

  13. Blair Walsh just did his best Ray Finkle impression.

  14. Mackensie Alexander is currently falling under the "more I see the less I like umbrella" for me. I love the attitude and the raw coverage skills but I think his aggressiveness will get him in trouble in the NFL. I have a tendency to give DBs the benefit of the doubt and even I think he gets away with a bit much. Also hate the fact that he can't get off blocks to save his life, if there's a body on him then he's a non factor on run D.

I wouldn't worry about things that can be adjusted and coached at the NFL. I care more about their ability, size, athletcism, ect. the stuff you can't coach. Those are the traits that often separate special players from the rest of the pack

  15. Moving Webb to FS could be a homerun with a full off-season at that position to get ready, could also be a complete bust but what do we have to lose at this point? Our FS play has just been terrible the last two years.

Opens up a huge hole at CB. Will probably put VH3 and Ramsey very high on our big board.

  16. I'll get it started...... Bring Pagano home this off season. Our defense needs a make over and it's time to make it #ChuckStrong once again.

Would love for Pagano to come back as our DC, just don't see it happening unfortunately.

The OBJ haters LOL. Norman is known as a thug, you guys clearly don't know his history, dude has racked up many unsportsmanlike penalties for cheap shots and fighting. Brad Wing even said he heard a Panthers player holding the bat tell Odell "I'll be the reason you don't play today". The Panthers clearly started the whole thing.

Yeah man the double standard is unreal. Even today if you called Steve Smith an easy matchup and then walked around with a bat calling him out in pre-game his blood would boil. Bet he would've reacted very similar to Odell once the game started. Odell wants to be great, like I said he went overboard but his heart was in the right place, he was trying to make a statement about disrespecting him.

      sflegend89

... Clearly he didn't think they were going to use the bat on him lol. The meaning is symbolic, they took it to a personal level and tried to intimidate and harass him during pre-game after Norman had already called out Beckham as an easy match up during the week leading up to the game. OBJ took it too far, I agree, but the kid is a fiery competitor. Always been a fan of Odell and Jarvis Landry.

Funny how some of you guys hate OBJ but love Steve Smith Sr..while OBJ has a bit more showboat in him they are really similar personalities as far as viciously going after guys who make it personal with them.

Kid is a fiery competitor, Norman basically called him an easy matchup earlier in the week and OBJ took it personally as all great competitors would. I don't condone some of the "dirty" stuff he did but at the end of the day Odell wanted to prove a point that if you insult him as a player he's going to unleash hell on you. I love players like that, just needs to keep his emotions in check more. Steve Smith is the same type of player but he has more self control.

  23. dont understand why the Ravens are paying Mallet more than the veterans minimum, absolutely ridiculous, he's mediocre at best and a cry baby, he's not a Raven.

Couldn't agree more. The front office has had way more downs than ups these last few years and it's really getting concerning

  24. "Fans" don't vote Williams or Koch into pro bowl...want further proof that both the pro bowl has become meaningless and "fans" should get zero say in the process?

    1. sflegend89

      sflegend89

It's more or less a popularity contest with fan voting, never cared for it either. Should be half media votes, half coaches votes.

  25. I might be new here but I just can't get behind tanking games, not saying we are but a lot of people are saying we should. I think if you take the fight to win out of players then they give up on each other, that and draft position rarely changes teams fortunes, last I checked the Patriots are still in the playoffs and the Browns aren't.

    1. sflegend89

      sflegend89

Literally no one on here has said to purposely lose games. People have said "I hope we lose" but I haven't seen 1 single person say that the team should make a conscious effort to lose.
