  1. Steelers get Dri Archer and Martavis Btyant. Browns get West and Desir. We get a blocking TE who would still be on the board now and unecessary Dl and bum rb. Someone should lose their job over these mid rounds
  2. When I look at what the Steelers and Browns did in the mid rounds im embarrassed at our pathetic haul outside of the top 3 guys we picked
  3. Our scout for small school\late round picks should be fired for having the TE ranked so high.. missed on every RB now, shameful showing since Terrence Brooks
  4. We also passed on Yankey for ANOTHER dl. I give our day 3 an F, this is comically bad
  5. Could've had Andre Williams or Ellison to close the 3rd. I'm furious we squandered that pick when we have seriouz depth needs at rb especially. Guy we drafted isn't gonna cut it
  6. Depleted by our 5th comp pick, horrible, horrible, horrible day 3. Watched all the rb's fly off the board because we had to reach with our 3rd comp
  7. Watch Ray Rice get suspended and Pierce get injured.. wheres our talented rookie rb? Oh yeah we dont have one because we decided to reach on a TE who would've been there in the 4th. We've been garbage in this draft since the Brooks pick
  8. This is a shameful day 3.. missed out on every single good rb and wr this year.
  9. Im livid the Browns got West and Desir. Where's our rb, wr, cb.. just going to ignor positions that needed depth? ESPECIALLY rb and cb and we come out with nada
  10. Day 3 sucks.. literally every good player just went before our picks because we had to reach with our 3rd comp. Shameful, no wr or rb of significance to speak of
  11. Not a single TE taken in the 4th.. we bombed miserably at the end of the 3rd. A the good players like Andre Williams and Desir are gone and we're stuck with a guy we could've got at the end of 4th in the 3rd. SMH, day 3 already looks like a massive fail for reaching in the 3rd. Browns take West and Desir.. makes me sick
  12. It's called BPA my friend. Also ILB was a very underrated need as well. Arthur Brown was still a potential liability heading into the season as a starter and Mosley is the definition of a plug and play, day 1 starter, just look at his pedigree as a 2 year captain under Nick Saban at Alabama. Also look at how the board stacks at the positions you mentioned. Mosley was the only true stand out, 3 down ILB in the entire draft. WR specifically is still stacked heading into the 2nd and 3rd round.. we can still get Jordan Matthews, Moncrief, Latimer, Jarvis Landry, Davante Adams.. plenty of picks yet to be made before we start criticizing positions of need. One or more of these wr's in the mid rounds will be a stud like Keenan Allen was last year and that's why position plays a big part in draft value.
  13. Let's all take a moment to be thankful that Lewan, Fuller, OBJ didn't fall to the Steelers. If the Ravens had swapped 1st with the Steelers because of the "Tomlin Incident" and took Mosley at 15 and the Steelers took Shazier at 17 no one would think anything of it.. I think we made out just as good as if the NFL actually made us swap picks.
  14. Steelers fans don't even like the Shazier pick at 15 and a lot of them are saying they would've preferred Mosley or Dennard.. Top end speed isn't a key trait for an ILB. Much more important to have a good football IQ and instincts which is definitely in favor of Mosley. Mosley has some good wheels too, may not time as fast as a guy like Shazier but he has better intangibles at the position.
  15. Arhur Brown is more of a developmental prospect then we originally thought. I still think Athur will be a good player for us but he needs time. As a starter this year Arthur would be a liability. Mosley is a day 1 starter, he's much more of a finished product already then Arthur . Like I said in the other draft thread, teams ran the ball down our throat at times last year. Jameel, Bynes, and Arthur left a lot to be desired and we should have a higher standard for our starting ILB's heading into next year. Mosley is going to be real solid next to Daryl Smith and isn't going to be a liability. Still some good FS's on the board and we got a potential pro bowler in Mosley
  16. Also consider that Arthur Brown is more of a developmental talent then we originally thought. The talent is there for Arthur to be a good player but Mosley will be a day 1 starter and is ready to go NOW. Much more of a finished product then Arthur was coming out, 2 time captain for Nick Saban.. this isn't a developmental ILB.
  17. Some of you guys are hilarious preaching BPA before the draft and then get mad when we actually take the BPA lol
  18. Ozzie didn't make this pick on his own. Eric, Harbs, the scouts all had input. How soon people forget teams running the ball down our throat last year. Do you remember Toby Gerhart gutting us for a potential game winning run? Le'Veon Bell among others punishing us on the ground. Mosley will be an outstanding chase guy against the run and be a leader for the defense down the road. Not head over heels in love with the pick but I can respect it. Also consider that we might love a guy like Buccanon or Terrence Brooks for the value. Maybe even trade up if Jimmy Ward get's in range. I predict we get a FS in the 2nd and a WR with one of our 3rds.
  19. Cowboys took him right before we took Elam. Cowboys fans were belly aching that they didn't take Elam or Cyprien and that they "reached" on Fredrick and the kid actually had a really good rookie year as their starting Center. Ended up being a really good pick considering he made it to the tail end of the 1st round.
  20. Now I wonder if we'll target an OL like Martin or Lewan or a playmaker in the passing game like Marquise Lee, OBJ, Ebron, Kelvin Benjamin? I mean FS is still possible but I think the offense is over due for a 1st round selection.. especially after last year
  21. Now if we can land Lewan in the 1st our new look OL will be complete
  22. Blount would be a really good signing. We've struggled in short yardage situations for years now..Blount is a guy who can convert those 3rd/4th and shorts or punch the ball in on the GL
  23. Don't bring back digs unless it's depth/ST. Elam needs to move back to his natural position, digs isn't the answer as a starter and we learned that last year. Go after Decoud or Clemons with that money, digs played his heart out for us but it just feels like his run here is up.
  24. The longer Champ stays on the market the better bargain we could possibly get. His man coverage skills have deteriorated which makes him a liability at cb but I think a move to FS fits his skill set better at this point in his career. With the knowledge he has of route trees and coverage concepts I think he could be a really solid FS. Instead of chasing wr's all over the field he can sit back in almost exclusively zone and jump routes. Not a fan of the Clark rumors, we need someone who excels in coverage like Champ back there. Clark can still lay a lick on people but he's suspect in coverage and a penalty machine with the way the NFL is calling "defenseless receiver" and "unnecessary roughness". Wouldn't have to worry about that with Champ.
  25. Thurmond would be great but we really need a FS or Center still. We tried to trust our young guys last year at wr and we got burned. I don't want to see that happen with Chykie and Asa trying to fill that #3 cb spot left by Graham. I think we sign a vet cb after the draft and it won't be one of the big name guys you named.
