I have seen RB's lean into the snap like that so many times and not get it called. Of course they call it on 4th down on a massive play.

This Ravens defense is good but so over hyped. They can get flustered and shook. The truly elite defenses give up plays every once in a while but they never lose their composure like this.

We are a good team. But the Pats are a great team. AFC is full of "good" teams this year, landing a playoff spot will be tough sledding.

Flacco playing desperate, this is what seperates him from the true elites at QB and seperates our team from the true elites of the NFL. We hit the panic button and teams like NE and Dallas stay composed.

You can't even be mad the defense, we knew the Pats would find ways to put points on the board. This is on Hester and Flacco thus far. Bonehead play by Hester set up the safety and Flacco has not capititalized on the opportunities he's had. Literally has all day on some plays and he hurries a bad throw without a pass rusher anywhere near him.

Flacco has ALL DAY and he zings out hurried throws to checkdown options. Do what Ben and Brady do when they have time, hold the ball and wait for the coverage to break down. OL has been awesome in pass pro and Flacco doesn't even use the time he's getting.

Anyone else think Ray's comments lit a fire under Flacco? I've never seen him so vocal and involved with teammates. This is what many of us have been calling for, we know he can't change his personality but just to make an effort to be a more vocally active teammate in-game and I think we're finally seeing it.

I have a feeling this is going to be one of the most memorable games of the year. No Gronk is a major plus for us heading into this matchup but Bennett is still dangerous, don't sleep on him. This is a Pitta and Smith Sr. type of a game. Flacco will turn to them in a hostile road game, nationally televised nontheless. If we can limit Blount and Flacco can deal like he did this week I like our chances. You never know with Brady and New England, very tough game to predict other than the fact it will be close. I'm really not looking forward to hearing that stupid fog horn effect they always play lol.

We're peaking at the right time. Awesome performance today and a good confidence builder as we have a pair massive games still ahead of us. Perriman needs to touch the ball more in space, he's like a thoroughbreed stallion in the open field. Starting to remind me of a young Demaryius Thomas. Remember, for all intents and purposes this is his rookie year.

This is definitely what I was implying happened with the Correa pick. Spence was a guy who got traction as a potential 1st round pick, NFL body type for the position unlike Correa and was originally a mainstay on a highly talented OSU team for good reason. Because the Ravens place so much emphasis on high character players perhaps there was some confirmation bias from the group as a whole, trying not fall in love with Spence as a player because he didn't fit the mold of an ideal Ravens draft choice off the field. Then presented with another player at the same position who fit that Ravens mold better (Correa) they were far more willing to buy into his tape because as a person they liked him more.

Noah Spence already has 5.5 sacks this year as a rookie. Can someone please explain how a lot of us fans in the draft section could tell clear as day Spence was a better prospect than Correa yet our front office whiffed so hard on that call. As good as our front office is they have this terrible habit of passing up the best football player for "high character guys" in certain situations. I know Spence had the off field issues in college but c'mon, he was clearly a more NFL friendly prospect. As good as the defense has been this year it feels like we wasted that high 2nd round pick. The only silver lining being Judon exceeding expectations for us. I've been vocal about giving Perriman time to develop because I do believe in his talent and potential. For whatever reason I just don't believe Correa the same way.

I trashed the Shareece Wright signing last offseason and everyone was adamant that he was a worthy #2. He is who I said he was, a depth player worthy of a roster spot but not anywhere close to a #2 CB in today's NFL. It sucks that out of Arrington, Will Davis, and Wright not one of them played sustainably good ball for us.

This is such a season defining game in a lot of ways. Locked in a tight divisonal race with almost no room for error if we want to control our own destiny. Coming up against a true upper tier opponent for really the first time all season. I think a win gives us that confidence to finish this season strong. A loss and who knows how we respond, this is such a big game in more ways than one.

Loved the uni's. Fans across the league seemed to be high on them as well. If we just made those our new home uniforms I wouldn't mind. Was never a huge fan of the purple/white look. I always thought our white/black away's and all black looks were much better.

I still don't know who is the best team out of us, Pitt, and Cincy. We'll find out during this final stretch of the season. On paper Pitt with a healthy Ben is probably the most well rounded team. I think our defense is better but when they have Brown and Bell clicking they have a dangerous offense. Our offense has been absolutely abysmal which makes it hard to give us a ringing endorsement in the AFCN race.

We're talking in relation to Perriman. The correlation is rarely brought up when people get on Perriman for lack of production this year. In fact there was an article on this site insinuating that Perriman was responsible for Flacco's 2 picks against the Jets which is absurd. Not saying Flacco hasn't felt the heat from fans this year but for some reason there is little crossover from that when Perriman get's criticized.

It is funny how Perriman has faced so much criticism this season but nobody wants to mention the fact that Flacco has been beyond abysmal for the majority of the season thus far when they talk about Perriman's production. Flacco seems to be trending up since the bye but he still hasn't put Perriman in a situation to succeed with his lack of consistency and shoddy accuracy. Burns is a pretty good corner and Breshad beat him deep and Flacco just couldn't deliver a catchable ball. Those instances always seem to go unmentioned when people get on Perriman's case about production.

People need to chill with this bust talk. It is beyond early and if you haven't noticed the entire offense has been pedestrian outside of maybe Wallace. Perriman has flashed potential and that's all you can hope for out of a guy who was a project to begin with and jumped to the NFL after a full year out of football and 2 knee injuries. Patience is key. We would all love for 1st round rookies to hit the ground running but given the circumstances Perriman had a major set back and he already was more on the project side as a prospect, great raw talent and frame, needed refining. I'm hanging in there with Breshad, I think it will click for him late this year or early next season.

I think their commitment to the run had more to do with Big Ben's suspect health and inability to evade/throw accurately down field. They knew their defense could keep us in check so they opted to play conservative and play the field position game. They didn't fear our offense so punting wasn't the end of the world, they just wanted to avoid costly turnovers that gifted us points hence the heavy dose of conservative runs. It was actually a good game plan on their part, we were just fortunate to get 2 splash TD's via Wallace and the blocked punt which nullified that strategy.

This was a sink or swim game for the team. Ugly or not this win put life back into the season. Had we lost this game, against Pittsburgh of all teams I think it would've been the straw that broke the camel's back. Confidence and self belief is so important for a winning enviornment, the season was essentially on the line for that very reason and we got the job done.

Sergio Kindle. Always felt bad for the guy though, we'll never know what kind of player he could've turned out to be pre-accident. I know he lost hearing in 1 ear, definitely changed him as a football player. Honorable Mentions to Mount Cody and Arthur Brown as far as recent picks go.

We better spank em, we're playing an 0-9 team at home but we always seem to play down to the competition. Can't remember the last time we won a game that wasn't a nail biter. Coleman and Pryor can ball but that's about it. Luckily for us the secondary is clicking a lot better as of late. I just want to see the offense run the ball succesfully, we have the OL healthy, smash them between the tackles and let's get out of there with the W.

Reminds me of Jason Verrett, another undersized corner that holds his own on the outside despite guys with his frame usually being resigned to strict nickel duty. Young has exceeded expectations, I thought best case scenario he would in the mold of a Casey Hayward or Corey Graham. From what I've seen thus far he has a chance to be even better.

Blaming Perriman for those int's? Unbelievable levels of apologetics for Flacco's poor play. Flacco's mechanics and accuracy have been terrible all year, this is hardly an isolated incident. How about Flacco steps into his throws and drives the ball accurately to it's intended destination. Are we really supposed to believe his 29th ranked QBR and negative TD-INT ratio have no correlation to his awful throwing mechanics since the ACL. Perriman has to step up and should be expecting much more of himself but not because of those int's that fall squarely on Joe.

A 9 year vet, SB MVP doesn't need a QB coach to tell him to step into his throws. Flacco is dealing with a mental block of sorts, likely brought on by the ACL tear which has left him feeling particularly vulnerable. It's a lower body issue with his mechanics, doesn't seem to mind hits from the waist up but it's like he doesn't want to step into his throws because it makes him feel vulnerable to extend his lower body out to oncoming rushers. You can't have a QB playing scared out there which is undoubtedly happening right now. Flacco has to overcome this mental block and the scary thing is he might not be able to. I don't doubt his competitiveness but things like this after a major injury can be hard to shake.
