This guy could be a big time sleeper. When you look at his frame and athleticism he's the real deal, he just has to mentally do some catch up with some of the bigger school guys who were exposed to higher level coaching/competition. But Judon has all the things you can't teach, that's why I really like this pick. We have one of the best DL coaches in the NFL in Clarence Brooks, if Judon has what it takes mentally we're the team to get it out of him. While his game exposure may be relatively light his rookie year I could see him breaking out and becoming a starter a few years down the line. We did a much better job finding high upside late than we have in recent years which I'm excited about.

Yet he could still compete to be our #2 corner, what does that tell you

Brooks is too undersized to convert, only 5'11 195 lbs to start with I just don't see him having the sheer size to handle the dirty work at ILB. If any of them could do it I think it's Kendrick Lewis, he's not all that much bigger than Brooks but he's longer and I think his frame could support another 15 lbs or so of muscle. To be honest bulking up his lower body would be more important than his upper body, needs the lower body mass/strength to anchor him self against bigger guys. I still see us adding a quality ILB.. maybe even Arthur Brown finally clicks, we shall see

Yeah I don't see it happening either, just doesn't feel like typical Ravens signing because Culliver has had some character/locker room concerns. I'm just not confident in our corner group. Jimmy hasn't proven he can stay healthy, Wright is very up and down, Arrington has struggled, I think we're being overly optimistic there in the front office. It seems like every year there is a position that the fans clearly see as not up to scratch and volatile that the front office get's blinded by their optimism with. Even ILB is worrying me already, we struggled covering TE's big time last year, I don't want to hear that Orr is starting material, he's good depth but that's not acceptable to be relying on him as a 3 down ILB next to CJ. Obviously you can't address everything in the draft, our offense is looking great and the pass rush got a big upgrade as well. I just hope we're aggressive shoring up CB/ILB with cap casualties like Culliver and possibly even trading for an ILB.

I wanted Culliver the last time he was a FA, underrated player. Look we didn't draft a CB high, Culliver can play on the outside and I think he's better than Shareece Wright... I really hope we go after him. Wouldn't count against comp picks, discounted rate from the beginning of FA, good opportunity for us to improve the secondary.

Anyone else have some serious reservations about Webby starting at safety full time? I know he got some burn there at the end of last season but I'm not really feeling this as a full time move. Regardless of the safety positions being "interchangeable" for us both spots have to be able to come up in run support, that's a given. Webb is listed at 183 lbs, he's always lacked physicality as a corner, now you're talking about moving him to safety where the threshold for physicality is even greater than it is at corner. He's never been adept at run support, if anything he's been below average in the department. Just a smaller frame guy who has a hard time getting off blocks and meeting physical runners head on. I think Webb can handle the coverage aspect at FS, no doubt about that. I just see him struggling at that spot in run support however and that concerns me. Both those safety spots have to be able to come down and clean up messy situations with RB's and even WR's/TE's, your safeties are your last line of defense and it's for that reason that tackling is an imperative part of playing that position in a way it's not at cornerback.

You just don't see guys his size that are so nimble sealing the edge on speed rushers and still able to stonewall bull rushers on top of that. While he could stand to get stronger, which I'm sure he will, even when a bull rusher pushes him back a bit it's never enough to compromise the pocket. Definitely digging the Tyron Smith comparison. You can put on the Ohio State footage to see him against top flight competition and he doesn't even get close to getting beat the whole game, has 1 false start and then plays lights out the whole game. Shame Bosa got ejected before they could get matched up but it's a very impressive display nontheless. Even in the running game he get's a better push than I anticipated and does a great job getting seal blocks, also athletic enough to get active down the field picking up blocks. You really see those long arms come into play, he can just stop guys dead in their tracks with his initial punch and can do it at a distance that totally kills the rushers leverage. Then you add in the football intelligence, when plays break down he's always doing a great job getting to the right spot and making any block he can to help the offense's cause. The film speaks for itself, Pro Bowl LT waiting to happen.

What? He could start day 1 at LT. I bet he beats out Monroe in camp even if he's healthy

Can we stop with the spin? The Front Office felt Ramsey was the better prospect, that's why they tried to trade up for him. Stanley was still a very good pick but Ramsey was the best defensive played in this entire class.

I find it funny how people always blindly defend the front office in any situation. Don't get me wrong, far more often than not the FO does get it right, we're blessed to have one of if not the absolute best front offices in football. But with that said, they still make mistakes. Sometimes fans see things from a different perspective than them and actually end up being right. I can recall several draft situations that incensed me like not drafting Keenan Allen and I ended up being right. With that said, I think we were on the right end of this Tunsil debacle though, I don't trust him and the difference between Tunsil and Stanley is so marginal that we were better off with just taking the high character kid. I think we were on the wrong end of not trading for Ramsey and not drafting Myles Jack however so we'll see how this all plays out.

I honestly think Dixon could end up being the 2nd best RB from this class behind Elliott. Absolute steal in the 4th round.

Tavon Young - good nickel corner, looked great at the combine, really fluid hips and nice ball skills, reminds me of a slightly shorter Casey Hayward. Better to take a good nickel corner rather than a potential bust outside corner. Size was the only thing holding him back from being in the conversation higher in the draft, the coverage skills and physicality are there. Chris Moore - I have a feeling we took the Patriots pick here which is always nice. He burned Eli Apple this year who of course went 10th overall, #1 CB off the board. I do have some concerns with him having enough speed to be a vertical threat in the NFL, that's where he makes his money and he doesn't have blazing speed like a Will Fuller for instance who is also a one trick pony. I would've rather had Killebrew here but that's just me, let's see how he get's on in Preseason against NFL corners. My least favorite pick this round. Alex Lewis - Will probably be moved to guard, good depth and he may be the next Rick Wagner late round OL gem, like the pick, we needed more options at LG long term Kenneth Dixon - Love this pick, I could see him being the starter long term. Put on the tape and he does it all, good vision as a runner, good enough speed to pull away from guys, can get physical and bounce off tacklers, very above average receiver, solid in pass protection. Think Alfred Morris, he's not ever going to be an elite RB but he does everything well and can be very productive for us. Willie Henry - This guy just feels like a diamond in the rough. You know Jim gave his brother the insider info on him and sung his praises. Very athletic for a guy his size. I'm excited about this kid, our DL is looking nasty after this draft.

You know what, I really dug up all the footage I could find on this kid and I like the pick way more than I did yesterday. This wasn't a great year for edge rushers and I think Correa has the quickest first step off the LOS in the entire draft (Although he's obviously not nearly as well rounded as Bosa in other areas). Higher motor than Spence, I do think Correa is the better prospect now. After really spending more time only on the edge rushers I think Floyd and Spence were very overrated. Spence deserved to go where he did, Correa and Dodd easily could've been a late 1st, and Floyd went WAYYYYY too high. To me Floyd was the most overrated out of all of them in relation to where he was picked. Correa reminds me a lot of Shane Ray from 2015, similar size/body type, Ray's arms are a little longer but Correa timed better than him in both the shuttle drills which leads you to believe he's more agile and changes direction better. I still think Myles Jack was the right pick but I'm a fan of Correa now.

Overall solid draft, some nice pieces. Still have glaring hole at ILB and need more help at CB, the front office is overly optimistic about certain positions as usual.

Don't be surprised if Dixon is the long term starter, he doesn't have a lot of tread on his tires which is great, only carried the ball 200 times last year. Plus he can catch out of the backfield and pass protect, complete RB who just needs to refine his game. Never played behind an OL like the Ravens are going to have either, that's exciting.
