Ravens need Perriman to stretch the field, keep 8 men out of the box to help running game, and make team think twice about blitzing. Jacoby and Torrey were not dominant receivers, but they stretch the field enough for Foresett, Daniels to make plays. Every good offense needs the the big play threat. As long as he's available week one, I think Ravens are good.

Even if Perriman gets healthy , he has missed enough practice to fall behind. More than any other receiver , Flacco needs to get the timing down with him. He needs to work on his routes and hands. There is a lot of talent in the receiving corp and once Perriman get's involved and up to speed, he will add to what Ravens have. We could use him out the gate since the first 6 games are crucial.

Are Webb and Asa both banged up? Good to see Jernigan making it back. Rest the O-line unless Joe is out there. With Receivers getting most of the press, I think our corp of TEs will be the most impressive unit and provide the miss matches. 6'6 Gilmore along with Boyle and Mad Maxx are too much for most LBs and safeties. I like Waller. He is big and can catch or draw fouls. Could be another OZ steal.

Carl Davis is going to be a beast. If a cheap CB or safety becomes available , OZ should pick them up. Trawick, Levine, Vaugn looked loss. Boyle is nice. He may be the best all around TE. Very sure handed. Butler did not shine as much as Waller. You can see on TV how much bigger he is than any DB trying to cover him. He either caught the ball or drew a foul.

I think AFC North Football is always about run the ball and stop the run. There are too many great front 7 defenses in the AFC North. A Balanced offense, protect the football I the key.

I should reserve judgment until the 2nd or 3rd preseason game to truly assess the team. Either Aiken and Butler are diamonds in rough and are good or our secondary continues to struggle. Ravens seem to beat each other up in camp. All of these muscles tears and hamstrings makes me believe Ravens need to look into trainer to incorporate less weights and more stretching / flexibility. Injuries and killed the Ravens opportunities to win division since they are never at full strength during the season. No team really is , but Ravens have been plagued by key injuries.

We need safety depth with Elam out. Make the Move OZ.

I saw a late 4th quarter catch on Chykie Brown by AJ Green and a depleted secondary playing on the road at the end of the year. What's your point? just about every QB placed yard on that secondary which is why pass defense is ranked in the 20s. What are you watching?

I don't get this Dalton slaying the Ravens talk. The Ravens secondary has been poor post Ed Reed and Pollard. Any QB with receivers the quality of AJ Green and Sanu would have had success. Now Joe had a good mixture of receiver and the secondary (if healthy) can match up better.

It's time for Ravens to reclaim the division. I'm tired of the Steeler hype and the Bengals 15 minutes are up. We have the potential to be a great team for years. A lot of young talent across the board. Our secondary has to be at least improved and if we are healthy, I don't the NFL is ready for them ready.

I only have 3 disagreements with that projects. First, I like Waller over Butler. 6'6" with speed and can catch. I would need to see both in Preseason but Waller seems to have too much upside to think he'll pass waivers. I like Casey Walker over Lawrence Guy on the DL. B. Williams is the only 330 lb guy and Jernigan and others appear to be more penetrators than eating up blocks. I can't see keeping 5 ILBs. A. Brown or McClellan may be cut since Orr was running with 1st in OTAs.

This is all part of some of the individuals in the media/NFL plan to exhaust the Deflategate story until no one cares what the NFL does about Patriots "Once again" cheating their way to a championship. Always deflecting from the story with who said or who reported what. The only truth is the Patriots got caught breaking the rules and should be punished. The NFL decided not to blame the Patriots organization, waited until after the draft to ensure they kept all their picks, now wants to make the story about who said what. Pathetic attempt at distraction.

The Ravens were not in the Super Bowl for one reason. The defense could not stop the Patriots after Joe led them to 2 14-point leads. Still the take-away is what if Joe didn't throw the ball, what-if Torrey went after it more aggressively. To me, what if the secondary offered more resistance than a wet paper towel? Give Joe his credit. With constant change of OC, system, players,since 2011 he has put the team in position to win Championships

Watching NFL Game rewind vs Steelers and its clear that Yanda and KO dominated the Steelers line. I know it will come down to how much of the cap Ravens want to allocate to O-line and market price, but KO is young and dominant while Yanda is dominant and can kick out to RT. Hopefully a guy like Myers can step up too.

Pitta is not a surprise. Brooks probably will play this season but may miss first 6 weeks. This could open up a spot to keep more at another position like Wr , OL, or DL.

I hope Elam steps up but the all of the other safeties listed has played better to this point. I like Brooks and hope his games improves.

I think the only question mark as to who will make the 53 out of the DT listed here is Guy. If Ravens keep all 5 listed in this article, then how many will they keep at the D-line position? DE/DL are (Canty list as DL, Lewis-Moore, Urban, Bilukidi,Tyson, Thompson, Means is more OLB). Will the Ravens keep 9 or more D-linemen ? Bigs usually don't cover on special teams so you would reduce DBs or LBs to make 53 man roster. I think the Ravens will keep 8 (5 DT, 3 DE)

I trust the front office to choice a make deal for either Yanda and/or KO when appropriate.Tucker's deal will get done no doubt. My biggest concern is the youth of the Ravens offense skill position players. I don't think the Ravens necessary need a star at this point, but they need consistent production from their young guys. Next, the secondary will be fine IF the pass rush is still effective. Raven had 48 sacks which will be tough to repeat with aging pass rushers. Can Upshaw and Smith add to Suggs and Dumervil? I think the Ravens will be fine if the Offense and defensive lines can dominant again in 2015. Both units must stay healthy. If they are, Ravens are just too big and strong upfront for most teams and should have another playoff berth at least.

How could Mink not list, Zuttah, Urshel, or Myers? I'm thinking Jah Reid will be cut. There is no way you keep him in the 53 with the talent Ravens have at other positions. We need one of the rooks to be the G/T so Yanda can stay inside. Hopefully Wagner and Monroe are healthy this season.

I think it will come down to which back can pass protect the best. Rookies usually need time to build that. I expect all 3 to get touches during the game.Also, Given Foresett age and size, Ravens will allow other RBs touches as long as both can produce. 3 headed monster

I think some fans under estimated Torrey Smith's value. Yes, the market was too high for the Ravens, but don't forget what life was like without Torrey. Without Torrey, Boldin, Mason, wouldn't have one on one coverage to beat. Without Torrey, Rice, Forsett would see 8 man boxes all game. Without Pitta, Daniels don't have big holes in the middle of the field. Torrey was a solid deep threat. A Value role on any offense. Perriman has YET to prove he can even be that good. I hope/think he is cause if he is at least a Torrey smith option, look out. But he must prove that consistently. Otherwise he is Jacoby Jones. A fast guy who can't catch and will be asked to return kicks.
