Ravens should play Perriman if possible. They need an evaluation on what he can do.

Some of the best players to ever play the game at some point in their career played for the Ravens. Rod Woodson, Deon Sanders, Shannon Sharp, Ed Reed, Ray Lewis, Ogden, AND Steve Smith Sr. Proud to see him wear the purple and black and just ball every time he hit the field. If this was his last game, and IMO a big if, then congrats on going into the top 10 and see at the HOF in 5 years.

1. I don't want Smith Sr. to go out like that. 2. Officials were terrible,once again 3. Trestman needs to run the ball more, feature TEs cause that's the strength of offense 4. Flacco carried the team to victory in the second half by turning busted plays into big plays 5. Got to love Tucker's emotion

Steve will next season. I don't think it will settle with him to go out injured. If he's physically able, then he'll play. IMO. Congrats on top 10.

Trade Monoroe already.

If this team is truly sub par in talent, then why are the games always close? If that trend continues, I think Steve has to look at the coaching staff. Players lacking talent would be in blowout games by now.

1. Time to meet expectation: Joe needs to play better without apologies after the game, Mosley needs to show he a cover better, Smith and Webb need to earn the money 2. There was time when I could enjoy watching any NFL game. Now the pregame show are filled with ex-players cheering for their team, every year it another emphasis on rules, and watching the game is like a marathon. The competition committee is like a special interest group lobbing for new penalties every year to give their team an advantage. Outside of watching the Ravens, I can't sit through an entire game without doing something else.

Ravens have had a consistent guy that can cover man-to-man since Chris McAlister. Webb, J Smith, Monroe, all got paid and all of them are under achieving. I think Jimmy is overrated. Stop making excuses because Ravens paid him. If he is the real deal, be it healthy or not, he would have shown it by now. He is inconsistent, Webb injury prone, Monroe is soft. They are who they are.

Looking at the current players on the roster what concerns me the most is what appears to be a lack of work ethics. Joe is up and down with his fundamentals. He always says he doesn't need to work with receivers early on in the offseason. Then during the season, the offense looks like a group of guys that never played with each other. When will Joe learn to call his own plays instead of calling timeouts because the sideline needs to tell him everything. How many times has Suggs, Webb, Upshaw take show to camp out of shape or in poor condition. Safeties still having "bad eyes", OLB still jumping offside. There is a lack of discipline with this team. Ray and Ed held it together because they demanded the best from their team. With that leadership gone, who models the behavior of professional. Therefore,I find it hard to believe other teams would give up anything significant for any of these players.

My concern is the Ravens ability to use and value what they have. Gilmore is a 6'6' 270lb monster, but they do not feature him except in the red zone when everyone expects to throw to the him. he should 8 catches a game.

Better personnel/scouting decisions. What if: Jimmy Smith was a true shut down corner, Elam was a good safety, Kindle a solid pass rusher, Webb earned his money, retained Boldin , picked DGB instead of Perriman. I see where OZ, Harbs, and Decosta are trying, but their decisions have not been working lately.

I don't think it's accurate to say just the players. It's the coaches and front office job to scout, coaches, and put players in position to be successful. Some fans blamed Joe while Cam Cameron was here as the OC. We then drop him and win a Superbowl with Joe breaking an all time record and a Superbowl MVP. Pees is a problem whether it's his scheme or the players he's scouting to bring in on defense.

I commented on this a couple of seasons ago, but was negged because everybody thinks Ozzie is God. How could you keep losing talents like, Arthur Jones, Ellerbie, Macffie, Boldin, Torrey Smith, Ngata, Kruger, year in year out, (Interestingly could you believe that all these guys were on our roster at the same time) and expect to win. I know you can't pay everybody but it seems to me that Ozzie takes pride in saving money even if it means losing talents. Teams that find ways to keep talents, I believe win enough to justify the money they spend. What happens to all the money Ozzie saves? Goes right back to the garbage carrousel that we have become. In the end we save no money. What cheaper better players are your referring to?

That's what OZ likes to do. Trent played a key role in going to and winning Superbowl 35 and he is the firs tone OZ cuts. It took 12 years to get back. Boldin looked unstoppable in 2012 Superbowl run and was cut .

The worst play of the game is watching the entire offense trot to the line of scrimmage with no time outs with the game on the line. I don't know if it's stupidity,lack of heart, or not caring, but that was unacceptable.

Has not looked good since the big contract? Worst than J. Smith? Put the beer down and take two steps away from the keyboard. He had a career year just last season. Kubiak better Trestman and a deep threat in Torrey. Joe is not elite like Rodgers or Brady and every season he has 2-3 stinkers. However, he has the worst receiver corps in the league and a new OC just about every year. He's not good enough to be the guy that carries the team, but he is the Ravens best shot at being a competitive team in the foreseeable future.

How many band-aids does OZ have to bring in before FO realize its the coach? Wright is a guy who got cut from a team with one of the worst pass defenses. Why sign him in the first place and then put him in a do or die situation. Why not Asa, Arrington, or any player that been in the system longer than 3 days? Stop asking a player to do something he's not cable to do. Ravens should never play cover zero.

I put that on the Defensive Coordinator. You put a guy that was just cut in cover zero against a burner like Torrey Smith. Stupid. That's that same as putting Chykie Brown or a safety one on one with AJ Green, Pees has no clue on personnel and coverage.

No since of urgency. Jogging in a 2 minute situation with no time outs. Unacceptable.

2 turnovers by Joe. One was just ridiculous from an 8 eight year guy. he won't pound on Steve desk for money this year. 2 drop TD passes by Smith Sr. 2 drop INTs. This s what a bad team will do week to week.

Will the coaching staff do anything different on offense or defense? Will they give young guys opportunities? Will the team continue to beat itself with turnovers and penalties? Which smith has the biggest impact Torrey, Jimmy? I say Smith Sr. Will they team play with SMART aggression?

My gut tells me Torrey and Boldin circled the calendar for this game. Ravens need to play ball control. They must run the football and convert 3rd down or it could get ugly.
