300 never gets old
You just saw that? I really enjoyed it the first time I watched it. I'm surprised you didn't like the main characters actor. I think Jesse was great in it. What didn't you like about him?
Haha yeah, just got it off redbox. And, no, I did like the actor - he did the part excellently. I just didn't like the character, Zuckerberg was a jerk and backstabbed his friend - I loved his quick quips, though. And this was the best scene in the entire movie, loved seeing the Winklevii get owned all throughout the film.
Just saw the Social Network - a good, solid Fincher film. I enjoyed it a lot, just didn't like the Zuckerberg character.
Personal attacks and discussion of politics/racism are, as always, not allowed.
Extremely Loud and Incredibly Close was a great movie. Memorable acting and scenes - heart-wrenching, at times.

Cat breading
Star Wars marathon on Spike that I've been watching all weekend, these movies are excellent. The original trilogy is much better, of course.
50/50 was great, highly recommend it.
Immortals looks corny as hell, The Thing trailer wasn't great either.
Word. Like a cheap 300
Moneyball was very enjoyable and this from a guy who detests baseball. Great cast and screenplay.
I want to see 50/50, I've only heard good things.
Lol. I could go on and on about her. She's incredibly pretty, insanely smart and higly talented. Luna Lovegood is very much adorable as well.
I love Harry Potter.
Same, bro, same. I actually do really like Harry Potter and had/have/will always have a crush on Emma Watson. I'm going to the midnight showing, too. It's gonna be ridiculous.
Just rewatched all of the Harry Potter movies from parts one to seven and a half. It's really cool to see Emma Watson grow up over the years from just two days of watching.
My friends and I are gunning for the Deathly Hallows midnight release on July 15th. Can't wait.

I want to see Horrible Bosses when it comes out. Got a couple of my favorite actors in it - Day and Bateman - so I'm hoping it's funny.
The acting was excellent, especially for the little kids. The movie itself was just awful and the only reason it's been getting some good reviews is because of who directed and produced it. I think Abrams is overrated to be honest. I probably should have known that the monster was going to be so cliche due to the PG-13 rating it has. It was just boring in my opinion, go to a matinee showing if you really want to see it.
Hahah good review. I'll probably still end up seeing it at some point - wasn't a big fan of Lost or Cloverfield, either, two Abrams projects...
Super 8 sucked
Hahaha aw, I kinda wanted to see it. Without giving it away: was it a story problem or an acting/casting/cinematographic problem?
Friday the 13th? Halloween? They definitely have some of that in there. Others too but can't think of any off the top of my head. I do love Halloween though...oh right right.
Never saw those, sorry. You're right about that, I guess Scream was unique in that rite.
in Scream 1 and 2 but that threw me off too. I was convinced it was just about everyone at one point or another haha. I suspected the blonde cop and Trevor even though I knew they were both too obvious, Hayden Panettiere, the publicist, Jill, and Robbie. So pretty much the entire cast haha.Well there was
two killers
Yeah, like you, I suspected Trevor was too obvious right off the bat. I thought it could've been the blonde cop, too, lol. Which killing did you like the best? The Trevor one was pretty brutal. And the blood-bath of the next-door neighbor was gruesome, too. Anthony Anderson getting a knife in the forehead. Yughhh
Yeah, my girlfriend said there were two killers in the first one. But, again, I never saw it so I was taken for a loop. My only knowledge of Scream 1 came from Scary Movie 1 haha.
Were you sarcastic when you said definitely unique haha? I think its unique because there's no nudity and no drugs and they actually have decent storylines instead of people just going around slaughtering people for no reason. And Scream 4 was unpredictable. I guarantee you didn't see the killers coming.
Well nudity and drugs? I don't know how much that has to do with slasher, adrenaline movies. I didn't mean to be sarcastic, it was unique in the aspect that it had all of the clichéd archetypes yet made fun of them the whole time.
The story was marginal, better than I was expecting. "Decent", like you said, is a good word for it.
And I was mad that there were
two killers!Made it impossible for me to figure out who it was. I was convinced it was the reporter... until she got stabbed
They're all cliched, but it's done in a tounge-in-cheek way.
It did make fun of itself/horror movie cliches a lot. Pretty funny.
I dont think theyre typical horror movies I think Scream is unique in some ways...How did you like Scream 4?
Again, I didn't see any of the first three but I liked it. It's not a "scary movie", like an "Alien" or "Exorcist" movie but, rather a "jumpy" movie. I jumped a lot. A lot of "he's right behind you!" and plot twists in the story.
Definitely unique. LOTS of blood. LOTS of pretty girls being murdered. Lots of phone calls. But they made fun of it the whole time, the entire movie is filled with jokes.
I love the Scary Movie series so I couldn't help myself from always thinking of Officer Dewey as Officer Doofy
Being forced to see Scream 4 tomorrow. Were the first three any good or were they the typical, cliched horror movies with a bunch of teenagers?
Anchorman was a triumph. I loved it. In fact, I might watch it again, tonight.
Even though it's not a movie, I still love the Planet Earth series. Maybe I just like watching animals with British narration.
I fell asleep watching Inception...
My nominees would've been: Salt, Takers, Tron and The A-team.
My vote would be on The A-team, hilarious and actiony. I love it
I liked the music in Tron, reminded me of Mass Effect, but not much else. I had to walk out.
You...you know that was just in the movie, right?
I don't think so. I hope he recovers.
