Let the cruise ship drama lie, it's over.
It's the movie thread!
Saw the Dark Knight Rises two days ago - JGL as Robin is about as close as you can get. I'd never heard Bane before but had to LOL every time he said something. Sounded like a cross between an old man and a bad Shakespeare actor combined with a ambiguous foreign accent.
I need to watch it a second time I guess! Hanks is always fantastic
Speaking of which, I watched Philadelphia a couple of weeks ago. Hanks is heart-wrenching but Denzel's character goes so deep and becomes so powerful. Great movie.
You team Amy, lol?
Amy > Penny > Bernadette > Priya in my mind
Priya.
Awful! Can't stand her
I like Leonard the most.
He's almost the cliche sitcom main character but he has enough quirks to redeem
Sheldon and Howard are the best characters on the show, Amy is close behind
Rented Cloud Atlas. Any thoughts on the movie? I'll be watching it tonight.
Pretty good, hard to follow at times but it comes into focus. Crazy how they can make the same actors look so different.
Saw Prometheus the other night - pretty good, but with many unanswered questions (intentional, I know).
Very similar to Alien, although it's supposed to be.
Who gives a crap about TV or music? I have other devices for those. I wanted a great gaming console with backwards compatibility, less garbage online "content"/fees, and the focus to be placed on games rather than the fluff.
Amazing movie, Tarantino is so good
Reservoir Dogs. But it depends. Are you a Tarantino fan? Not much happening in that movie, lots of long monologues. I liked it though.
Loved every one of his movies, from Pulp Fiction, Kill Bill, to Django. Reservoir Dogs is the last major one on my list.
Movie for tonight: Reservoir Dogs or There Will Be Blood?
Please, guys, not the place for streaming/downloading of copyright material.
Blood is one of us.
1st ballot HOF, imo
Django was a great movie. I burst out laughing several times, not because it was humorous per se, but because of how unexpected, righteous, and fun the movie was.
When Django is whipping the brothers (don't remember their name) but the camera pans out and he is standing there, in that blue getup, in a hero shot. Outrageously good!
Christopher Waltz playing a part to perfection - as he did in with Tarantino Inglorious Jerks.
DiCaprio and Jackson being memorable with such short screen times. I didn't even realize it was Samuel L until I heard him speak.
Overall just a great, riveting, fun movie. What movies should be like.
The ONLY good part about this trade is that we are free of the large cap number...
The ONLY good part. Sad to lose Anquan! And a letdown to only get a 6th.
HOPE they don't, he was a beast in the playoffs and I'd like for him to retire in purple
Re-watched the Kill Bill movies over the weekend. Amazing!

Problem. The new consoles, including the new Xbox may not give you the ability to play Used Games. They didn't announce anything about it yesterday so either the rumor of the new systems rendering used games useless were false or it will be announced at a later date.
I think they'll just make you buy those stupid online passes like a lot of games do already. EASY way for them to make money with no legitimate reason.
I also hate how everything is being tied to social media. I don't want facebook/twitter/etc connected to my gaming. I hope there's a way where this is not required.
Doesn't Rainey have a history of domestic violence?
Remember when Steeler fans listed him as a huge addition to the team? He is the textbook example of a hyped up scrub.
One question about "Pacific Rim", why do the gigantic robots have to be kung-fu fighters? Can't they attach some guns to them?
Anyways, just got back from The Hobbit. Amazing! Same feel as LOTR but more digestible while still being epic - even the girls, who would otherwise be uninterested in such genres, said it was great. I like that they added in the storyline of the Necromancer, too, gives more meaning to Gandalf's wanderings and importance to the ring while introducing 'old' characters. A lot of deviations they made from the book, while minor, made it easier to follow.
GREAT. Peter Jackson strikes again.
Love Mike Rowe! Reminds me of Ben Bailey and Brian Unger as favorite show hosts
I'd agree with that. The new Lincoln movie looks amazing.
My uncle said it was great, he's a history buff
So, you weren't a fan of Tree of Life? Too esoteric?
Didn't see it, actually

Yup, it was on HBO.
