  1. Correct.

They also can't pick who I want for my team....

yes, like Clutch an somebody else

The potential for them to be making their picks by proxy is the main reason we would freeze their teams. When we see that they're still getting in touch with members about who they want to pick it means to us they are trying to get around the ban.

  2. ok, but this means we can still find replacements from the other members of the boards

I completely disagree to this! Clutch could take one team and I'm pretty sure we can find one more member willing to take the other; we started with 32 teams, we should try to finish it like that

Replacements that aren't being filled in with who 5SBs and nflfan123 want to pick?

  3. Here's my issue with doing 33 rounds. Take this from someone who isn't involved in this beyond being a spectator, so my opinion here might not be truly representative of a whole but rather a part. Regardless, I'll just give my opinion because perhaps it will help some of you make a decision. If not, no worries.

Right now you're set to end this at 25, right? By extending it another 8 rounds, that means you will be drafting another 256 players. Now, I mean no offense here at all to any poster here. Please don't think this is in any way an insult, but let me use a post as an example rather than provide self-constructed examples that may be too fantastical.

Berad openly admits he's going off of names he knows to fill out his roster. Extending this another 8 rounds might not necessarily be beneficial, as you could reach a point where participants have exceeded their knowledge base and are at a loss on who to take.

To me, it just seems unnecessary from that perspective. I think extending it could do more harm than good. I also believe it may eventually cause people to lose interest when they've exhausted their knowledge base, which would hold up the process. If I was participating, I would vote against an extension. I could wait to make this statement, but I honestly might not recall all these thoughts and wanted to make these points while it's fresh.

Yup I'm low on time and, for a variety of reasons, interest in this draft. I agree with you.

  4. I haven't seen the purge but it seems dumb to me......why would that be a solution to anything

organized crime would have a field day with a day without law.......they would make billions,

also imagine the property damage...........it would take all year to recover from that one night and then it happens again....society would collapse.....im not a fan of fiction that is nonsensical.....just because its not true doesn't mean the world stops functioning with logic.....good fiction is a story where you change something big like there are superpowers now but the world still operates with logic....like what would our world be like if this existed. and the purge fails that test because there is no way that system would last more than a couple of years without society collapsing into anarchy.

I agree. People would get their ill will out that day AND the rest of the year, too.
