Yeah that's not a problem. I'll get working on that tomorrow.
I can also help with the maintenance of the thread, I can edit it as well. Thank you!
Yeah absolutely. I'll have the big board thread up tomorrow afternoon most likely. If we just want to change the thread title once we actually get to drafting, that's completely fine with me.
That works well and thank you for doing that. As Mt Crushmore said, we're trying to keep the number of threads down. Combining the draft and big board threads just makes sense. And, if there are concerns on the size of the first post, could we split each round into a different post in the beginning?
At least once FA is over, we can start the draft through the first 3 rounds (until comp picks) at least.
On another note, if this game returns next year, I'd suggest randomizing the order of FA next year so DB's aren't always last. From what I've gathered, they are always overpaid because they're last and people want to use the rest of their cap. Maybe switch it up and see if the same holds true.
That's a good idea and your reasoning makes a lot of sense.

TE Brandon Myers

I accidentally bid on him earlier but deleted it. I went to press backspace on my phone and pressed enter instead and deleted it immediately. If that is not allowed I'll put my bid back and cut him immediately for no loss.
I just resurrected it, you're not allowed to retract bids, once they're out they're out

I'd be on board for that. But I worry he's another Dickson, his hands never caught up with his athleticism. But for the right price his potential is certainly worth it.
He's under-performed but not as severely as Ed Dickson. All has to be in the right price but he is a pretty decent receiving TE.
I would love to grab Gresham if he were available, but I still find it hard to believe the Bengals are going to let him go. Are they in bad cap trouble?
Actually they aren't, just looked them up on sportrac. But nfl.com's reasoning is that the rookie Eifert outperformed him (which isn't exactly true, either). Just a possibility, I guess.

I just read an article on nfl.com that said Jermaine Gresham could be cut. The Ravens could take a nibble at him for the right price - they were pretty disappointed when he came off the board in 2010.
Yes, sorry for the delay, all. The final signings should be up as the last post in the QB thread, color-coded as I know everyone likes lol. Let me know if there are any mistakes.
Interesting. I still haven't heard of the guy, but I honestly don't pay attention to the Jets at all, except when Sanchez does something stupid.
So you're always paying attention?
Nobody wants him but you have to try, yes
Lol, trade for him just to turn around and try to give him away
I seriously didn't plan on making this many trades, but oh well. I'm open to one more, though. I'm willing to trade one of my 3rd rounders for a group of late round picks for depth.
Got 4 picks in rounds 5-7 and willing to move them as I don't follow the draft/college that closely (until this time of year) and would be clueless on lower-tiered players.

Very happy to see Terrell staying. I'm glad we worked it out. He's the longest tenured guy and still my favorite player on the roster.
Directory now includes links to Depth Charts and State of Franchise posts for each team.
4 teams need to do their Depth Charts - Texans, Falcons, Chiefs, and Cowboys
Ed being Ed lol
I (colts) franchised vontae davis before trading him to the eagles
What is the issue with it? Wasn't going to re-sign Davis anyways, I knew people would be interested in him, so I got something for him when I could.
Colts - Eagles Trade
Colts receive
3rd round pick (86)
Bradley Fletcher (CB) - 3.5 stars
Eagles receive
Vontae Davis (CB) - franchise tag - 11 stars
Looking for a backup QB, SS and/or vet RB
Matt Hasselbeck
Tashard Choice?
Again, San Francisco, Kansas City, and Indianapolis need to get their State of the Franchise up before they get checked.
It is up, oh great auditor.
So I don't think I accounted for the 5.5 'star' difference between sportrac and this game. Does that mean I have 5.5 more than I listed?
Matt Hasselback (QB) on trade block for Colts.
Erik Walden (OLB) OR Robert Mathis (OLB) also on trade block.
Vontae Davis (CB) on trade block.
Colts
Franchise:
Vontae Davis (CB) - 11 stars

Dan Herron (RB) - 0.5 stars
Chris Rainey (RB) - 0.5 stars
Stanley Havili (FB) - 0.5 stars
Yeah seriously. I knew I hated that station, but I follow them on Twitter because their interviews are usually somewhat interesting. Guess I won't pay attention to them anymore...
There was that good interview with Harbaugh during SB week. All of the sports stuff kind of runs together for me. Aaron Wilson is the golden standard ![]()
Haha of course. I would usually never quote WNST, but since it was Zenitz, I believed them. Shame on me!
Shame on them, they put it out there!
