TO was a nightmare in the lockerroom, though.

Yes but I believe the voters have already gotten their venom out on that topic by making him wait last year. He could wait a couple more but there are some legitimately worthy WRs that need to start getting inducted.

  2. This week, the Pro Football Hall of Fame released their 94-name list of nominees for the 2017 HOF class. Many familiar names to Ravens fans, including some former Ravens like Derrick Mason and Randall Cunningham. Up to 8 nominees will eventually make it into the HOF, if I was voting I would chose...

    RB LaDanian Tomlinson

    WR Terrell Owens

    OG Alan Faneca

    DE Jason Taylor

    LB Zach Taylor

    DB Brian Dawkins

    DB Steve Atwater

    Coach Don Coryell

Might be my modern-day bias but those are some great NFL players.

There are some names on there that are just disgraceful and have more to do with media affiliations than NFL performance. Guys like Tedy Bruschi, Carl Banks, Willie McGinest, Rodney Harrison, and Darren Woodson are examples of that. Some guys should be removed for gross incompetence of selection, Bob Sanders, Tedy Bruschi, and Willie McGinest were no where near all-time great players. And Darren Sharper is on the list... seriously??

    What is your opinion?

I'd love to show y'all some of the pictures but I know they don't allow it on the board. I posted some of them on my Facebook so if anybody's interested in seeing them you can pm me. Its nothin special though and nothing you can't already see on the ravens website and what not.

Thank y'all so much for the love and support.

If it is football related you are allowed.

    I am pretty sure.

Go ahead and post them, you're okay. We'll only take down some pictures if it gets way off track, that's something we are trying to relax

I like the fact that Perriman is putting in extra work after each practice.  This is not the first time I've read that he stays after to get more practice on the JUGS machine. One of Perriman's pre-draft concerns was dropped passes.  Gotta give him credit for working harder to be better in that area of his game.

True, I like that. He dropped a couple of catch-able balls in the two games he's played, glad to hear he's putting in the extra work.

Heres the real test..On Sept 25 @ Jacksonville. Jags are way better than the Bills and The Browns. They're a couple steps better then those two teams. Plus you're playing in Jacksonville where those fans are loud.

A couple months ago, you were ready to ship the Jags to Texas because lack of fan support.

Jacksonville has a ton of receiving talent and good passing game, they'll be a test for sure

ofc 4 sacks are bad. But, flacco could have avoided at least 2 of them iirc: 1. by just throwing the ball away because he had held onto the ball for like 4-5 sec already and obviously the defense is going to be on him after that long, 2. he could have scrambled on a play, he had a open lane to do so, but he didn't and got sacked. This is on flacco. I am being cautiously optimistic so far that the 4 sacks happened because new oline needs to jel, first game jitters, and flacco's confidence in his leg isn't 100% yet. Hopefully, this will be fixed quickly

There were also a lot of sacks he avoided by throwing it at the last second, probably more than the ones he took. Some of those were important plays, receptions that kept drives moving - others ended up harmlessly on the ground. It goes both ways, you don't want him to play like Kirk Cousins.

He does.  Can't recall the interview, but he said he feels like he's been here his entire career.  That it was a perfect fit for him.

Can you imagine if SSS and Weddle would have spent their entire careers here?  We would have probably never had to experience

    the Lee Evans drop.

Yeah, if only... fun to think about, I'm definitely glad they are here now

  8. Redskins are so soft and gutless. Kirk Cousins was literally afraid to look over 10 yards downfield and he wasted some great field position - good thing he mopped up his stats in garbage time. Josh Norman looking like a Redskins free agent, overpaid and overhyped. If you're getting $50M guaranteed, you better be following around the best WR in the league. Even when he was on Brown, I think Brown got the better of him. Jay Gruden looked lost, totally clueless as to what was happening around him. His team has some decent talent - Jackson, Garcon - but most of them looked like wimps last night.

Is Aaron Donald another in the line of scummy Jeff Fisher / Gregg Williams players?

I think he got too confident and lost his fundamentals for that second in the heat-of-the-moment. He made me mad because I mean come on, really? That's a tackle you have to make, man. Then again, I'm not mad at him anymore even if he is the guy who will rightfully shoulder most of the blame since he was the one who missed. I am not sure how many, but I know other guys on defense let up and did NOT play through the whistle there, especially in the secondary. It was just a blown situation and a mental gaffe because the guys thought they had him and they didn't. Taylor was pretty elusive there to be fair.

Yeah it was a fluky play but sometimes that can be the difference in a game, as we all know. Glad it turned out well in the end but I'm sure the coaches almost lost their minds.

Great experience!  I enjoyed a lot of fun banter in 505 with y'all.

The outcome was not disappointing  Rex Ryan needs to go. This Bills teamdeserves better. I never expected to leave with a win. It was a great horrible game.  There is nothing good or worth saying. The few bucks highlights were ruined by boneheaded nonsense, poor plays, poor strategies ... All around awful.  Glad to see heap back, flacco is always one to bet on, forsett looked good but how long will that last?

Foley's, sliders, magurks(sp?) And not sure we're great bars.  Staying in the inner harbor and only going to federal were great tips.  Those orange liquor drinks for the orioles y'all make are good stuff.  Buffalos seen hard times and still does. Baltimore has so much more to offer than what a lot of recent events would ever show. I'm glad I got to see it!

Come on up to Buffalo, it seems y'all haven't been there in a while by feedback I heard about the area. A lot has changed!  Olmsted made one hell if a city and I'm glad pegula is bringing it back!

Thank you!  Have a great season!

Glad you enjoyed it, thanks for the kind words. It was a good game, a classic slug-fest that kept everyone anxious for 3 hours.

strange that noone mentioned that Dean Pees was on the sideline making calls; I think that's a big plus cuz he can interact and get inputs from our players, so he can make appropriate adjustment...

I'm glad he's down there for the sole reason that he can't sit up in the box all game then come down post-game and comment on the players' physical efforts. Defense, more so than offense, has so much rooted in motivation and effort over gameplan.

He's responsible for his unit and if he feels they're not giving full effort, he should be down there telling them so rather than drinking Coke through a Twizzler or whatever he was doing before.

  12. The gameplan was obviously to pass... and pass a lot. Only having 2 RBs active made that pretty clear. Still, against a tough Bills defense they limited mistakes enough to carve out a win.

The worst play was Zuttah's boneheaded snap followed by Flacco's almost-INT that would have been backbreaking. The great plays were Wallace's deep route, Perriman's first catch, and Pitta and Flacco's 4th-quarter play. The running game looked bad on paper but they made enough plays to help us. The final drive was perfect and we basically had to make the last first down twice, thanks to a shoddy spot by the officials.
