Just did it with Leon Hall. It's whatever you signed them for. The 'halves' rule is only for cuts. I had to ask, too, when I did it.

Wasn't a huge fan of signing him in the first place but he took a year off to 'get right'. Plus, with the way our off-season is going, employing ex-cons is better than current ones.

Another good point, it helped us grab Brown so he's connected to it in a way. Also, with Boldin on the roster, a guy like Marlon Brown may not make the team - definitely would not get the amount of playing time he did.

That's a good point, too. We stood pat with our receievers and once Pitta got hurt in TC, we were up the river without a paddle. Our offensive weapons in the passing game had been stripped. This is all true but I was pretty disappointed when I heard that he was traded then more so when I heard it was only for a 6th.

He wouldn't have been on the team in 2014, either way. The big issue with that trade was how little we got back.
