  1. Yeah, suspend him from what? A fine is 'blah' and, depending on the amount, Irsay could pay it with the loose change in his wallet. A real punishment is getting docked a draft pick, can't buy that back.
  2. Where are you hearing that? Very interesting if so
  3. Quoting myself for a follow-up on the story. Adams is being sued in a civil case by one of the former-defendants. He sat in jail for 11 months only to be acquited. http://www.wpxi.com/news/news/local/man-acquitted-steelers-adams-stabbing-case-files-c/nft8n/

  5. Does it matter who the pick was, people would have complained anyways?
  6. Follow Aaron WilsonVerified account ‏@RavensInsider Eric DeCosta: 'He's fast, tough, instinctive. He was the best available player and would have been the best at No. 10.' Aaron WilsonVerified account ‏@RavensInsider Eric DeCosta on C.J. Mosley: 'Smart relentless player, tough football player.'
  7. Harbaugh, Ozzie, DeCosta, and Hortiz are all smiling ear to ear at this presser
  8. True. Zomg why did we pick Ogden when we have Tony Jones?? We need an RB, Ozzie should have gotten Lawrence Phillips!!!
  9. Not exactly related to an arrest but the three men Mike Adams accused of stabbing him have been acquited http://pittsburgh.cbslocal.com/2014/04/30/jury-deliberations-begin-in-adams-stabbing-case/ Their side of the story was that Adams started the conflict but turned the story around because he 'had too much to lose' if he got in trouble again. Hilarity! Also from an older story on the trial: http://www.post-gazette.com/local/city/2014/04/29/Testimony-ends-in-trial-for-stabbing-of-Steelers-Adams/stories/201404290181
  10. When you represent an organization as a part-owner, what you say reflects on the organization. If you take away from that company's earnings, they have the right to punish you - especially when you sign the mythical NBA constitution that Silver brought the punishment from.
  11. Well, he said something that damaged (that's an understatement) the league's reputation and potential earnings. Sponsors pulled out, players/coaches/fans were upset, and the NBA got a huge black eye. $2.5M may be light compared to the stain it put on the league. He's representing a franchise of a billion dollar company. If he harms that with what he says, it's frankly irresponsible for the NBA not to act/stop that bleeding. He was free to say what he wants, he did, he won't go to jail for it BUT saying what you want does not mean it is immume to a response from others.
  12. Commissioner did what he had to do. Sterling's racist views were broadcast and threatened the $ of the league and the owners. Sponsors, players, fans, etc upset by it. He's got to bounce!
  13. Learned your lesson with Leon Hall?
  14. Peeing contest with T3hRaven! Again
  15. And him tweeting incessantly
  16. Don't get me started I'll be ranting and raving against nfl.com, PFT, etc for days
  17. Agree with you there and I was harsh but, man, what a waste of time even talking about it lol.
  18. What happened between the time he was a 'cant-miss', top 10 football prospect, top program athlete to him becoming the guy who gets arrested and makes scatterbrained decisions? The money? He got a big deal with $23M guaranteed before the rookie cap was set. The Oakland environment? I know it's supposed to be bad but a lot of guys deal with it.
  19. Understandable and I have no means, or right, of knowing that so I won't comment on it or judge it.
  20. "Good place", "good place", "good place" all we've heard him trying to 'achieve' since he got here. Sometimes I hear that and it just sounds like an excuse / place-holder for someone who has no purpose (or wants to pretend they do). Maybe I'm being harsh but what has he been other than useless noise?
  21. Bye Rolando, still not sure if he put one day of work in as a Raven.
  22. Kind of, this is his first run-in with the law (to my recollection) aside from breaking up a fight at Five Guys lol. Regardless, he was arrested but charges will not be pressed.
  23. Makes no sense to cut him yet before the draft/UDFA. See what you can in the next few weeks and probably into TC and the preseason. Been hard on you but good luck, Rolando.
  24. Maybe but migraines are usually a chronic condition and a quick google search of "Rolando McClain migraine" only came up as him being a migraine to the Raiders. Not discounting it but you heard it from Harbaugh himself... it's disappointing.
  25. More news (to me at least) http://www.baltimoreravens.com/news/article-1/Late-For-Work-417-Denial-That-Haloti-Ngata-Rejected-Lucrative-Deal/e3dd1c22-c78d-4035-9b50-9c4ec1034bf2
