  1. He'll get a lot of time this upcoming game. So far, he looks like a practice squad guy, though. He may be safe there, too.
  2. That's pretty cool, what became of the tee? Shuffled away by an equipment manager?
  3. CJ isn't the vocal type of leader that I associate with an "emotional leader". He may do a lot of things behind the scenes and lead in other ways but I don't think being in the middle of the circle screaming at guys is where he's most comfortable or most effective and he doesn't need to be, either.
  4. That's incredibly sad, very unfortunate
  5. Okay, just making sure so we had the proper citation, if needed. Our 'emotional' leaders, at least the ones in my definition that show fiery and passionate emotion while also being leading performers, are guys like Steve Smith and Terrell Suggs. You may see young guys grow into that - Brandon Williams, Terrance West, Tavon Young, Timmy Jernigan, Ryan Jensen, etc - and/or veterans get more comfortable and vocal - Eric Weddle, Mike Wallace. This isn't a comprehensive list by any means, just guys I've seen enough of or noticed something by the way they play/behave.
  6. Kicker Lutz and OT Nembot not practicing, likely cut
  7. I'd like to see Perriman play as well. He hasn't been in any games for almost 2 years, imagine the nerves of going into your FIRST game against a Rex Ryan defense and the added pressure of performing at home.
  8. Cooks gone. Yahoo's top FA TEs are Virgil Green, Kyle Rudolph, all of the Ravens TEs, Charles Clay
  9. Rodgers has an early bye and I dropped Dwayne Allen to scoop Prescott after Romo's injury. Might have to drop him for a TE again, I saw Kelce go right before my pick
  10. Good luck, Robin, college is a big step - don't be a stranger
  11. Looking for some feedback, I know my RBs are iffy... 10 person league, PPR format QB - Aaron Rodgers WR - Antonio Brown WR - Jordy Nelson RB - Carlos Hyde RB - Ameer Abdullah TE - Zach Ertz WR/RB/TE Flex - Jarvis Landry K - Justin Tucker DST - ARZ Cardinals Bench - QB Dak Prescott, RB Jeremy Langford, RB James White, RB Christine Michael, WR Marvin Jones, WR Mike Wallace Really like the potential of my bench, too, especially Langford. Still, potential doesn't score points.
  12. Is this an article? I'm confused by the format
  13. Yeah but you don't pull in an aging, expensive, unproductive vet just because you have a vague fear that younger players won't perform. So far, they've looked good so the Ravens are inclined to go with them. Remember not all veterans are as good as advertised, either.
  14. Glad to hear Jensen rebounded from that negative highlight, too
  15. We've invested enough resources and have enough good players on defense that we shouldn't have to settle for the 'bend but don't break' nonsense for the whole season. Just annoys me because it wasn't that long ago where the Ravens defense was something the other team actually had to prepare for... recently, every other analyst starts a segment on the Ravens with 'well the purple and black has been known for defense BUT...' The 'offense has to stay on the field' is kind of hypocritical because there is a finite amount of time in a game and if the defense cannot get off the field and gives the opposing offense a ton of TOP, then the amount of TOP the Ravens offense can get is limited. Things the Ravens will need to fix from last season, applies to both offense and defense: - Better 3rd down percentage - Turnover differential - Line play / pass rush
  16. Took a flier on Wallace in the last round, his chemistry with Joe in TC may carry over... may not, just a hope at this point
  17. I enjoyed that, too
  18. The eternal PFF question still echos: 'What is a blitz?'
  19. 16 Yamon 'Yaboi' Figurs days until kickoff http://www.nfl.com/videos/nfl-game-highlights/09000d5d802a099c/Can-t-Miss-Play-Yamon-Figurs-punt-return Yamon was a former 3rd round pick and electric punt/kick returner. Incredible speed and an awesome rookie season. He never quite developed into a receiving option although he scored a long TD against Houston in 2008.
  20. 17 Tandon Doss days until the Ravens regular season kickoff on Sept 11 Tandon was a 4th round WR out of Indiana with well-rounded athleticism. He could also return kicks as he is doing against the Texans in this image. Like many Ravens mid-round WRs he never produced to his full potential but still contributed on a Super Bowl winning team.
  21. The amount of Spanos' in the Chargers FO is disgusting. Eli, Seau, Tomlinson, Weddle, Rivers, Bosa...
  22. True but Tyrod could also knows how to exploit some of our players... and RG3 has the ever-creative Hue Jackson as his coach, Hue even got Andy Dalton to have success (including running) against us. Dalton has run for more attempts against us than any other team and scored 4 of his 14 career rushing TDs against us. It has been an issue for years, as Harbaugh alluded to.
  23. Obviously Harbs was upset about the QBs running for yards and we start the season off with two prolific, speedy QBs. I bet he and the coaches are hammering that point.
  24. Mike Preston has been hyping Jensen as a tough guy and he is definitely strong and chippy but he got dominated on that play. It was an embarrassment. I think he can rebound but man...
  25. Levine's game-winning INT and pick-2 was lower than some lesser returns. Very happy to hear Joe will be playing Saturday
