  1. Happiness overload.
  2. Hahaha. I love it!
  3. Ha, I'm at a Super Bowl party with lots of drunk people, don't have the patience to navigate their forums on my phone lol. Gooooooo Seahawks!
  4. Guys, I hope this game continues like this. I really want to enjoy reading the Broncos forums tomorrow.
  5. Any hatred towards Sherman is well deserved. Lynch on the other hand...he doesn't want to talk to the media, that's not his thing, I don't know why anyone would have a problem with it? We're all different, and frankly, if I was a NFL player, I would probably hate the media as well. They take any little thing you say and try to twist it into some big story when it's really not. They did it last year to us, and they'll probably do it again this year. I commend Lynch for basically giving a middle finger to the NFL and the media and saying "I'm not going to play your media game."
  6. Why are people talking about snow and the Super Bowl? It ain't gonna be snowing this Sunday unless the weather forecast changes very drastically. It's going to be low 40s...basically a normal November/early December NFL game.
  7. Wooooooooooooo. We all know Baltimore is where former Texans employees come to play real football.
  8. I always wonder how well former head coaches adjust to coming back as a coordinator. I can imagine that it's quite hard to go from a position where you have all of the power (well, a decent amount, not all) and then you come back and have to follow the orders of a boss who has your former position. I know I wouldn't react well to that.
  9. Pitta's injury this summer will definitely help us in contract negotiations. I wouldn't be surprised if he wants to sign a one or two year deal so he can break out, then cash in in the near future.
  10. If Reed is involved in any "major impact" I wouldn't be surprised to see various ligaments spontaneously detach from his body. I'm pretty sure his pads are the only thing holding his body together.
  11. Jets forum looks awfully similar to the Texans forum after they signed him last Spring. I hope they are equally disappointed. http://forums.theganggreen.com/showthread.php?t=79562
  12. Lets hope the Jets are overpaying Ed just like the Texans do. I wonder how many snaps total he will play this year.
  13. I fail to see how losing Ed caused our offense to become completely inept. Our defense has performed remarkably well given the fact that our offense has a tendency to go 3 and out numerous times in a row during games. Our defense has kept games close for the most part, and our offense has failed us dearly when we need to put points up on the board. Just like the Bengals game - offense looks pretty good the first half, scoring 17 unanswered, though one of those TDs was the result of a huge Bengals penalty. Then the offense comes back in the second half and looks like their not even cut out to play pee wee football. Our defense allowed just 10 points in the entire game until the fluke hail mary. Our offense couldn't even get a field goal in the second half to keep our head above water!!! We would have had to match or best the Texans offer for Ed. We would be 5 mil lower in cap money right now - almost no way we would have had Dumervil, or been able to sign Monroe. Your post makes me shake my head.
  14. Sooooo...about that Ed Reed fella...
  15. B-b-but I want people to like me Even if you don't like my posts, you aren't allowed to not like my name!
  16. Lol. It just rubs me the wrong way sometimes. If you don't like what I said, tell me why you don't like it. Let's have a discussion - this is a forum. What I said earlier in the thread was a joke about Ed playing on the o-line, but then people neg it. It's silly. EDIT: And yes, I know it's a bad joke
  17. But you responded (kind of)! I up voted yours, because it made me luls. I think I would be more annoyed at Ed going to play with the Jets than the Pats tbh.
  18. I wish people who negged comments would be required to respond rather than hiding in the shadows.
  19. He can visit the Bank and lose against us twice this season
  20. Question: can Ed play offensive tackle and/or center?
  21. How have the Texans divested themselves of Schaub? Was his ankle injury some sort of conspiracy?
  22. This amuses me to no end. I remember when the Texans signed him, all of their fans thought it was such a huge coup. How could they get the greatest safety of all time to leave his team? Jokes on them now. We all knew he was a shell of his former self. This season showed just how beat up he is. Very glad we didn't resign him to a big deal now.
  23. This is new. A few weeks ago was indeed missing the court date - around that time he was pulled over on a suspended license, but that wasn't reported by the media until the other day. Dude is continuing to screw up. I wouldn't be surprised if the NFL looked into this new citation as well and give him some more game suspensions.
  24. Von Miller cited for driving w/ suspended license and speeding: http://www.usatoday.com/story/sports/nfl/broncos/2013/09/11/denver-broncos-von-miller-leagl-trouble-driving-without-license/2796865/ What is this guy thinking?
  25. I went to the Redskins Steelers preseason game a few weeks ago (simply to root against the Steelers). You would be surprised how many Steelers "fans" there were wearing those hideous throwback jerseys. I almost vomited. I simply do not understand how someone could be willing to pay money for an item of clothing that makes you look like a combination of a bumblebee and a prison inmate.
