  1. I was asking about "Sr" lol
  2. I wonder how rare it is for NFL jersey's to read "Sr." at the end. Can you imagine Ray wearing "Lewis Sr." on the back of his jersey. Though thinking about it, he would be "Lewis Jr" anyway.
  3. Ian Rapoport ‏@RapSheet 1m How good a selling job did Ozzie Newsome & John Harbaugh do? Source says Steve Smith cancelled flight to New England to stay in Baltimore Damnnnnnnn right.
  4. Definitely a good price. Who was posting yesterday offering him $7mil a year? lol!
  5. By officially, you mean completely not officially right?
  6. Aaron Wilson ‏@RavensInsider 3m Steve Smith is a Raven, according to a league source
  7. Aaron Wilson ‏@RavensInsider 4m Steve Smith met with Ravens coach John Harbaugh and offensive coordinator Gary Kubiak last night when he got to town, visit continues today Aaron Wilson ‏@RavensInsider 2m Worth noting with Steve Smith, will probably want time to mull over with family, consider options. Other NFL teams interested, too
  8. Even Marlontron has to take a breather now and then! And having some depth is never a bad thing
  9. Can I have tomorrows lotto numbers also?
  10. You're supposed to say "No, no I don't know who it is!" Lol.
  11. For anyone discussing Smith's "bad year" last year - can anyone tell me the number 2 receiver at Carolina? Off the top of my head, I cannot. Now imagine Jacoby and Torrey streaking down the sidelines with Pitta and Smith running crossing routes.
  12. I think it bodes well that in almost every discussion about Steve Smith, the Ravens are brought up. If Ozzie can get him a fair deal that is friendly to the team, this would be a very nice move.
  13. Aaron Wilson ‏@RavensInsider 11m Jacoby Jones on taking less to remain with Ravens: 'I don't know, man. I'm not that good at math.' Hilarious. Hopefully Jacoby can continue working on his receiving skills (he did appear to improve last season). There were quite a few catches where he didn't do his usual "punt catch" to grab the ball. One that sticks out in my mind was 4th down towards the end of the Minnesota game (I think it was the final drive?) and he went up and snagged a bullet from Joe to get the first down. Hopefully he can work with Torrey and Marlon to continue all of their growth as receivers.
  14. Guys who are worrying about our cap space: we still have way more money that we had at this point last year, when we were about to sign Dumervil, Canty, Daryl etc etc. Plenty of wiggle room for Ozzie to fill the gaps in our team.
  15. I do have slight reservations to our signings so far. Don't get me wrong, locking up Monroe and Jacoby is a great step in the right direction (specifically Monroe), but as it stands, we are fielding pretty much the exact same team as last year. I would love to see us make a move for Mack to solidify our offensive line, then focus on a receiving threat and replacements to Art/increase defensive depth in the draft.
  16. Saints have hardly any money to spend, and they overspend on a safety. Crazy.
  17. Thats a really good signing for the Cards. Seems on the cheap side tbh.
  18. No Veldheer to Cards? Surprising.
  19. I trolled through the last couple of pages and couldn't find a link to the Sun article saying the deal should be done today... http://www.baltimoresun.com/sports/ravens/ravens-insider/bal-sources-predict-ravens-get-monroe-deal-done-today-having-productive-talks-with-jacoby-jones-20140311,0,2050741.story
  20. So, what you mean to say is absolutely no options.
  21. Well, now that the market has dropped on LTs, lets offer Monroe $7 - $8 mil/year instead of that $9 mil I was willing to give him a few days ago. I hope he's mad at his agent. I also hope we don't low ball and insult him. Give him the money he's worth, and if he doesn't accept it, then he's not worth pursuing.
  22. Give him $9.5 mil and call it a deal. If we have an offensive line anything similar to what we had last year, you can pretty much call the season already. We cannot afford to waste these years where Joe's cap hit is relatively minor. He's going to hurt us in the future years, and failing to lock up a solid offensive core right now is going to kill us after 2016.
  23. Time to get a Suggs jersey and get it signed.
  24. The next couple of years are going to be interesting for both the Seahawks and the 49ers. Lots of big players going to be going into free agency, and if the teams both continue playing at their current levels, they could be decimated by either teams pilfering their players or signing unfavorable contracts with players who could drop off at any time. Certainly going to be interesting.
  25. Don't interview John Fox. Come-on FOX, have some class!
