  1. first i have to say i believe the game moves too fast for a human to stop and go as fast as the officials want. if the league wanted to prevent injury they should keep the time moving instead of stopping clock so often. ...yes, i know what your saying this will kill the advertising dollar" not really. Second, burfict, single handily toss this game in the crapper. this is the problem of today's game. players are going for the highlight hit instead of tackling. if he went for the tackle; it would be the bengals playing next week.
  2. ravens better do something or this guy is gone....
  3. sad ending to a good player no matter how you look at it. pitta situation in a ravens uniform should be over. i been saying for over a year now that dennis needs to have his agent get him a tv deal. maybe he can take mink's on camera work... ;-P
  4. unless the ravens hire new scouts, the first pick of the ravens scares the hell out me. the ravens first rounders being successful is uncommon in recent years. so maybe the ravens need to shake up the font office a little. another thing, this one hurts as a fan, pitta should retire. hate to say cut or release. pitta'a agent should get him into tv. a few acting classes could be the next action star. (lol)
  5. ...like tucker, but over $4.5 mil a year for a kicker? doesn't sound like something the ravens will pay. i can see the ravens paying about $3 mil. a year. there are a few good kickers available in the draft if a deal can not get done. tucker in another uniform is hard to imagine...
  6. first of all, my take is there was no mention of the kicking game. wondered if this one those "don't want to jinx it" moments. who will be the kicker next year? i believe tucker is going to be lured away. second, injuries- i blame the nfl's policy on how teams are allow to practice. maybe teams should start incorporating yoga. third, the defensive secondary, for two years it has be kind of a joke and fans have been split over them. fifth, will be money issues, will flacco come off his money? finally, perriman and elam? next year will answer if they are bust or not?
  7. another words-- "show me the money!" history shows ravens won't chase a player that they deemed a mediocre player. i see upshaw going to philly or jacksonville should he not stay. after all anything is possible.

  9. happy! happy! joy! joy!
  10. it's not the offense i am worried about. it's the defense. unless the defense can leave the egos and start playing like a unit next year may be another punch in the jaw.
  11. just over half of the list will not be in a ravens uniform next.
  12. the caste is going to crumple this off-season. the real question is who will survive. could this be ozzie's last year? will the preseason's hinting of the afc title or bust still be in play? will mr. b keep the off hands approach? have the ravens lost their grasp on the blue collar work ethic? who will be held accountable for the failures of the defensive secondary? can the ravens actually get a #1 receiver? will joe be joe? or even available? will the ravens have enough money to field a worthy team? ....the hard questions are endless. the 1996 ravens were 4-12. never did anyone think that the this years team would comparable to that. it seems that the values that made the ravens reputation has been lost among active players and coaches.
  13. aiken a #1 receiver? in any other scenario than the current one, then no. as far as the aggressiveness. the prduct that is supposely being field in today's nfl is trash. teams can't practice correctly and players get hurt more often. these are supposedly men taking the field but really, they whine like children. maybe the player thinks it's like flopping in the nba. the officiating is the worse and just about every official should be replaced. then there is the NFL itself; are the people in charge really doing anything? are they really "football" people? the game use to be tackle football, where the fight in the trenches earned every yard gained or lost. where the fan sat on the edge of the sit praying for a break out play while their gut was twisted with anxiety. now the game has been become trans formed by outsiders influence. the nfl is like a b movie. the more hype; the more likely it flops.
  14. not a fan of the gold pants. maybe because i was surprised to see them. maybe the gold would go good with a black jersey, i don't know. i just wish these sponsors will quit trying to change tradition.
  15. i wonder if i could sue the nfl for fraud.....the idea of fair competition iearly non-existence.
