Eh don't like the Falcons but Ryan had an amazing year so he deserves a SB win.

I'm rooting for them too...Ryan and Julios; both deserved to have the ultimate price....NE will match them TD by TD so it's gonna be a good SB game, a high scoring game.  Belicheat might have something under his sleeves: a pin?

I'll settle for being a Patriots hater lol

  2. Lol I know the team is trash but you can't just delete the game thread now

We were as surprised as you were....

  3. ESPN apparently fired Ray. Shame. I liked having a Ravens guy on the network. That said I'll be the first to admit he wasn't the best analyst around, but if Merrill Hoge can keep a job...

I thought he did alright actually. In the beginning he was a little too much about Ray instead of the game, but he improved drastically & quickly. Shame. Just hope it didn't have anything to do with his son's troubles.

Someone put it this way, and I'd be inclined to agree- Ray will just rattle off 20 minutes of information, but only give you three minutes of usable information.

  4. 1 game out of the #1 pick with three to play! We can do this guys!

True. I also want the Browns in front of us to get a sure-fire bust off the board. Sucks the year we suck has a terrible draft.

Browns always seem to pick less than great players but I think there will be a few bright spots come out of this draft. Just my opinion. I think Oz will find the right guy at the right time too.

At #2 we either get Bosa or trade bait for Goff/Lynch

actually I'm on the Bosa Bandwagon. He's my pick. He's not overrated..he's the best defensive player in this draft.

  7. Who was it who told me we weren't bad enough to be in the Bosa discussion? Still believe that?

      I was wrong lol.

Didn't think we were bad enough to lose to the niners.

Go get him. And then take another pass rusher round two.

Bosa + Calhoun + what we already have = terrifying front seven.

  8. Worst team in the league. Literally.

  9. 3-4 at the bye and the playoffs are still possible. But I'm thinking 1-6 or 2-5 is more likely. At this point I just want to avoid 0-16.

At this point in the season you hope to kill the Steelers hopes (or at least damage them) and that you can either hurt the Bengals' seeding or take them out later on. Then some pride games - Colts, etc. We're not done yet but since it appears they aren't pulling the trigger on Pees it does not look hopeful

We don't play the Colts this year...pride games will be Steelers/Bengals, maybe Chargers and Chiefs. That's all really.

  10. Thank goodness Reed (my favorite ever player) got a ring in his last significant year in the league. It would've torn me up if he ended up on one of those "greats who never won it all" lists like Marino and Tomlinson. The presser was great, I actually laughed out loud when he said he loved every Cleveland and Cincy QB, lol. Have fun in retirement Ed!

Thought it was cool when Ed compared Himself and ray Lewis as Simba and Mufassa

Reed is a hoot, always a big smile on his face. And amen to getting him a ring before retirement. I think that same situation is true for Smitty - a phenomenal player and guy who lacks a ring.

Seeing as he might retire after this season, what do you say we go get SB50?

Number 52 and 20 set standards. Hard acts to follow.

  11. Obligatory public service announcement reminding my fellow BR forum-goers that a restructure =/= paycut. Brady is getting his money, just changing the upfront guarantee, which can be done when you're on the doorstep of 40.

Not overly difficult to restructure like your 3rd or 4th big contract in this league. Incredibly hypocritical of fans to expect Flacco to take "less" after he was vastly undercompensated for what he produced his first five seasons in the league...

Brady actually got a raise (again) by doing this. I'm sure Joe wouldn't say no to that.

Hi Hardbaugh, you didn't read what I said. Brady did not take a paycut, he is not making less. Technically he actually got a raise.

  12. *Jim Mora voice* Playoffs?! PLAYOFFS?! I just hope we win another game.

  13. Which will end first: the good weather, or the Ravens' arrest-free period?

    1. JoeyFlex5

      JoeyFlex5

ill give us the benefit of the doubt since the arrest thing is rare. the weather on the other hand.. theres no benefit of the doubt there, not at all.
