When you have Boldin you need a QB with a rocket arm who can deliver the ball in tight coverage because he's always covered.He's great at beating up smaller DBs, but struggles greatly against bigger DBs in press coverage. It will be very interesting to see how he does against Seattle's big corners. I like Boldin a lot and will miss his chemistry with Joe, but the team isn't going to fall in a ditch without him.

Boldin wasn't good against man coverage either, he just knew how to catch passes in traffic.

Pretty much, people have made up their minds about Flacco. Like I've said in the past some guys are just punching bags. Eli is another guy who is always dumped on no matter what he does.

No team will pay Boldin 7M/year, including the Ravens.That said, we still can't afford to lose him.

We have no depth a LB but honestly I think Boldin has more value than Ellerbe considering 1) This will be an offensive team going forward 2) Ellerbe is an injury risk I just can't get over signing your QB to top dollar money then potentially getting rid of his only truly reliable receiver. That's called setting someone up to fail. You'd think they would have learned by now.

True but chemistry is important. Flacco's chemistry with Boldin is off the charts.
