  1. Alcohol AND domestic violence issues? Ravens won't touch him.
  2. Can't fix stupid.
  3. I really wanted Green Bay to win, but I think GB probably loses to NE in the SB. So for that I'm happy that Seattle won. Seattle annoys me too but I remember all the good things Sherman said about Flacco after he won the SB and it makes it easier to root for them. Go Seahawks.
  4. Also, here is Harbaugh's supposedly gushing, pleading interview: http://www.baltimoreravens.com/videos/videos/Harbs_Belichick_Greatest_Coach_Of_Our_Generation/367bcff6-b554-4754-9705-743e2a4513a9 Most of his comments weren't even about Belichick, just the 30 secs at the end. Harbaugh is enjoying himself in AZ while Pats fans are foaming at the mouth.
  5. 99% of Pats fans didn't even know who Cody was until Friday. I'd wager that most Pats fans can't even name the 4th string DT on their own team.
  6. The best part of that article is how they manage to credit Belichick not only for Harbaugh's success, but also the success of the entire Ravens franchise. These wackjobs really believe that Harbaugh is "biting the hand that feeds" him (Bisciotti might have something to say about that) and that he'll be exiled from coaching "like Mangini" (who actually got a HC job with the Browns right after his stint with the Jets, so not exactly exile). I'd say that the clams they're eating must have unusually high levels of mercury this year, but this is typical for them.
  7. I would actually love Harbaugh more if that stupid theory was actually true. Tom did tell him to study the rule book after all. Well, if Baaaaawstan conspiracy is to be believed, he sure did. LOL.
  8. They must feel pretty threatened, personally I don't think much of the Patriots at all unless we play them, and I know most Ravens fans are the same. They really think the "Patriot Way" is something noble (and not being habitual cheaters) when they literally had an in-house serial killer with enormous pre-draft flags.
  9. Patriots fans and Boston media are obsessed with the Ravens, that's really the only explanation for their wacked out conspiracy theories. It's also hilarious that Pats fans think they're on some moral high ground when their team is a known cheating entity. They'll also be quick to pat themselves on the back for releasing Hernandez when this dude was thugging around Florida for years and they had no issue with it. They only released him when it was apparent that he was doing to jail. They'll continue to compare him to Ray Lewis because they think the comparison makes sense, but the reality their actual crimes were not similar, which is why Hernandez is two steps from death row while you can see Ray Lewis every Sunday morning on ESPN.
  10. I'm typically not a fan of generalizations either but unfortunately those are the views of a typical Patriots fan, and that's why it's being reflected in their media. There is not a fanbase more entitled and delusional. If the team really believes that too then they're even bigger whiny wimps than I previously thought. I can't wait for Seattle's defense to crush them. There are no Rashaan Melvins for Brady to exploit in that secondary.
  11. http://www.patsfans.com/new-england-patriots/messageboard/threads/harbaugh-colts-responsible-for-this-nonsense.1115586/ You really can't make this stuff up. Patriots fans are truly the most delusional people on the planet. The story linked in the thread is a hoot too. Read it if you need a good laugh.
  12. "@mikefreemanNFL: Do you need to be a student at Ball So Hard University to understand this?" Love this tweet about Bill's presser, lol.
  13. Agreed, nothing will come of it in the end.The NFL doesn't want to be too hasty though. Lord knows they've screwed up enough this year.
  14. Interesting link to a vid I saw on Twitter...apparently Flacco knows when a football isn't quite right:
  15. I saw it on Twitter, couldn't resist clicking the link. I'm actually a bit flattered that they're somehow still concerned with the Ravens at a time like this. LOL.
  16. http://www.csnne.com/new-england-patriots/curran-do-we-have-john-harbaugh-thank The conspiracy theories are flying in New England. LOL.
  17. The ball boy will get a nice severance package to take the fall is my bet.
  18. It's true the investigation isn't complete. I wonder what they'll rule as the cause of the deflated footballs. Hard to prove intent, though 11 of 12 obviously raises a lot of concern.
  19. This is so great. I love it. LOL. Like I mentioned in another thread, if we made the SB it'd be all about Ray Rice, they'd likely even make a big story of Terrell Suggs too. This scandal is a far better outcome. I'm fine waiting a year.
  20. Pats fans probably have more respect for Flacco than another other fanbase really.
  21. I believe we were only #10 in total defense and the pass defense was in the bottom 10. Actually very similar to the issues we have with Pees now. Gave up a lot of leads late. We went into every single game that season with a lead in the 4th quarter.
  22. I'm also concerned about the run game.
  23. Same here, Vinny had some great insight on Trestman. Gase must have attitude issues because he's not getting hired anywhere.
  24. Jim Harbaugh coached with Trestman in Oakland and Ozzie was coached by him in Cleveland. They know him. I think it's a good hire. He's had success with every QB he's worked with not named Cutler.
