  1. I really think the Wizards make the ECF with a healthy Wall. Devastating.
  2. Thank goodness Reed (my favorite ever player) got a ring in his last significant year in the league. It would've torn me up if he ended up on one of those "greats who never won it all" lists like Marino and Tomlinson. The presser was great, I actually laughed out loud when he said he loved every Cleveland and Cincy QB, lol. Have fun in retirement Ed!

Thought it was cool when Ed compared Himself and ray Lewis as Simba and Mufassa

Reed is a hoot, always a big smile on his face. And amen to getting him a ring before retirement. I think that same situation is true for Smitty - a phenomenal player and guy who lacks a ring.

Seeing as he might retire after this season, what do you say we go get SB50?

Number 52 and 20 set standards. Hard acts to follow.

  3. I want Flacco but there seems to be a curse when I buy jerseys. I bought #52 before 2012 ---> he retires the after season I bought #27 before 2013 ---> he has his worst year and...other things we won't get into I bought #82 before 2014 ---> he has an underwhelming year and leaves in FA The only jersey that hasn't been jinxed was my very first, good old dependable #20 that I bought back in 2010. I want #5 but I'm afraid I'll curse him too.
  4. But I think I'm past the point of caring about "rankings." Rankings are for fans of QBs like Ryan, Stafford, and Romo, who have been numbers but have never accomplished anything, so the lists serve as validation. Flacco will never rank highly in these things. Even the NFL Network article about his ranking said that these lists can't figure out his value but it doesn't matter because he is what he is: a dependable, durable franchise QB.
  5. I mean...they weren't wrong. lol. Can see why the Bills felt that way especially.
  6. Yanda has never made the list to my knowledge.
  7. Lol @ Flacco's ranking, what a sham. How was he #58 last year? Frankly he shouldn't have even been on the list last year.
  8. Never been the biggest Peyton fan, but he doesn't have any scandals hanging over his ring... Though I guess Rex Grossman being in the Super Bowl could be considered a scandal.
  9. The only thing that annoys me is that if Brady gets suspended I won't even get to enjoy it, because it'll probably mean a Steelers win week 1.
  10. The Patriots are cheating cheaters. I, for one, am shocked. Yeah they were some SERIOUSLY embarrassing posts when the Rice stuff broke.
  11. @RavensInsider: @EDMONDSONHS grad Jerry Lovelocke: 'I'm trying to level out I'm so excited right now. I'm teammates with Joe Flacco!' Ha I love this.
  12. The Ravens generally get pretty good respect in the media. Outside of clowns like Heath Evans and Skip Bayless who really "hates" the Ravens? Media types always trip over themselves to praise the front office, and this is still happening despite the Rice debacle. If anyone is expecting the Ravens to get the same coverage as more popular teams like the Steelers, Patriots, and Cowboys you're kidding yourself. For a team whose fanbase is generally confined to the Baltimore-DC corridor I think we're doing fine. Speaking of Rice, some conspiracy theorists suggested we wouldn't get many primetime games because the league wouldn't want to showcase the team after that mess. Well, about that...
  13. The league did us a favor packaging all four west coast games like that honestly.
  14. Too pessimistic even for me lol.
  15. I can't be mad at going to PIT on a short week, we've had them home on Thursday night for two straight years.
  16. @MIA is basically a 9th home game.
  17. Weeks 12-16 for them are downright disgusting. @SEA, IND, @CIN, DEN, @BAL I love it.
  18. At least both West Coast trips are back to back, though I wish they packaged SF with OAK.
  19. @RavensInsider: The Ravens play five of their first seven games on the road Good lord.
  20. Rich Eisen ‏@richeisen Teams with 5 prime time games: Broncos Colts Ravens Steelers Pats Seahawks Packers Cowboys Giants Eagles Hmmm....
  21. He looked great in the cold against us, that's for sure. Rivers has a pretty fabulous December record. I'd rather see him early.
  22. If that Pittsburgh leak is correct that SIX straight primetime Ravens/Steelers matchups going back to the 2013 Thanksgiving game. Crazy.
  23. Looks like it's Steelers x2 in primetime again He's a Pittsburgh reporter.
  24. Agreed. I'd rather see Peyton when his arm has worn down. He'll be completely fresh.
