Ravens Defense is looking good, few more holes to fill.

If Jimmy Smith misses this game (or is playing hurt) our chances diminish significantly. Either way we need to bolster our CB position over the off-season. Smith has proven injury prone his entire career and there is a big drop-off when he isn't healthy. It seems like the FO should have done this over the prior off-season.

Couldn't agree with you more on this one. The drop off in the teams defense when Smith hasn't been on the field has been completely night and day. Opposing QBs have picked apart Wright and Powers. CB is a big need going forward, and we'll be losing Steve Smith, potentially Williams, while mainstays like Suggs and Doom get older. I get the feeling this is a now or rebuild year for our Ravens. Hopefully we'll get 2 wins in 2 weeks but I'd be lying if I said I like our chances with Smith sidelined.....

If Smith can't go against the Squealers we are in big trouble.

If he can't go in any of the last 3 games we're in trouble. The talent drop off is super noticable when opposing QBs complete 75% of their passes when he's not on the field.

"Don’t Blame All Defense’s Struggles On Losing Smith"...why not? The secondary has been atrocious without him...

I knew they'd throw all over us as soon as Jimmy went down with the ankle injury. If he's out for the season or even two weeks, I don't like our playoff chances. Our depth in the secondary is just not good enough to cover up his absence...

After reading the part about Tavon Young, I couldn't help but think what our record would be if he had started in place of Shareece "Burnt Toast" Wright the entire season...

It's scary knowing he's probably retiring after this season and he's our most reliable pass catcher. If ya think our offense stinks now, wait till next year...

I have often thought the same thing. With the exception of us and the patriots, they never really face tough competition on the road.

Every time the squeelers lose, internet trolls on ESPN Ravens message boards go missing. Like Ice Cube said "Today was a good day"! GO RAVENS!!!

Glad he has the 1st touchdown "monkey" off his back. Gotta admit though, I personally didn't think it was a catch, the way the tip of the ball touched the turf. Was waiting for it to be overturned after the review, but was admittedly glad they gave it to him, and said "We'll take it" right before I downed my Irish Car Bomb.

I usually give the team a break early in the season, but the coaching in this game reminded me of how I felt when we lost to the bungles before Harbs was coach. Billick called 3 straight pass plays from inside the 5 and Jamal Lewis was averaging over 5ypc for the game...SMH...this loss felt just like that.

Really want a win here after reading several articles on how we'll lose for the first time this season by so called "experts". Let em' doubt. Let em' hate. We gonna shock the world! GO RAVENS!!!
