Dear Mrs. Justa Brooks; The Ravens Organization and fans lost a great coach and mentor, but none compares to your loss. May God Bless You and Yours Ma'am. And know one thing beyond a reasonable doubt, You will not walk alone on this path that lies before you! ALL of our hearts shall be with you every step of the way. Thank You, for sharing CB with us for all these years! He will not be forgotten!
Yours Truly, Ravens Nation
So glad you're back buddy! Plus $100,000 bonus for surpassing last years rushing yards.(641) After you pass that, ask Ozzy if he wants go double or nothing! Hehehe...Giv'em a run for their money!...Literally! May God Bless you and yours Mr. Forsett! Rock on Ravens!
Forsett just got shortchanged from Ozzie just like he did to Anquan Boldin and almost did to TUcker... I can't imagine good FA coming here because of Oz's reputation to not pay out on a full contract. We shouldn't overpay in the first place. No other team would've payed Forsett $3M/ year. Also, how do you ask Boldin to take a paycut after a great season? This is not how a "great" organization is run. Regardless, we save money on Forsett...
You had no idea at the time you wrote this, what the deal was that was offered to Forsett but why let that stop you from assuming the worst of the organization?
Given the way this had been playing out, it seemed obvious that we simply determined that we could leverage the situation to avoid subjecting a player to waivers that we ultimately wanted on the 53 man roster and worked out this plan with Forsett. The report is now out and, not surprisingly, it appears this assumption was accurate, given he's getting the same basic deal (with additional incentives). The organization established trust with a player and both sides gave their word on how this would play out and both followed through on it. A model of cooperation between team and player.
Almost shortchanged Tucker? ... but didn't, so almost doesn't count. Boldin? Well, I was never thrilled with that move either, but IMO we've reached our statute of limitations on that one as far as it being a major talking point in 2016.
Don't deny that Oz tried to shortchange Anquan a couple of years back- that's a fact. If he did it once, he could do it again.
You're a piece of work. SMH. First you say while "Shortchanging" Ozzy; "Forsett just got shortchanged from Ozzie just like he did to Anquan Boldin and almost did to TUcker... I can't imagine good FA coming here because of Oz's reputation to not pay out on a full contract." Then in the next sentence you "Shortchange" Forsett with; We shouldn't overpay in the first place. No other team would've payed Forsett $3M/ year." And to make matters worse, as balfan23 said, You had no idea at the time you wrote this, what the deal was that was offered to Forsett. Now 24 hrs. later you try to save face with a rebuttal about a 4 year old topic? C'mon man. You would do good if you would just stop "Shortchanging" yourself!
2 hours ago, Fastynart said:This Trust Ozzie stuff is tantamount to saying he never makes mistakes. He has made plenty of late with the Ravens high draft picks. The only one he hasn't owned up to yet is Elam. Elam stinks, just like the recently departed Arthur Brown, and Terrence Brooks. Does anyone not remember the infamous Sergio Kindle? It is ok to be wrong.....occasionally, but to be wrong with your first draft pick is a disaster that should not happen. God only knows what possessed him to take Elam. One has a lot more credibility when pointing out both good and bad than one does by simply going Rah Rah to every move. Ozzie has done some great work, but he is human, and has flubbed some important choices as well. A truthful article would note that.
Ozzy may not know everything, but he sure knows more than enough to get the job done!
Ben Watson is a real class act.
Yessir, hats off to Mr. Ben Watson! Excellent statement!
Mr. Ozzy Newsome, the Einstein of football!
Jason La Canfora (@JasonLaCanfora) Ravens left Justin Forsett's '16 contract virtually unchanged when they re-signed him, source said, except added $100K in incentives
Thank You Sir! Just what I needed to quite someone on the NFL feed.

Considering contract details haven't yet been announced, I think you're jumping to conclusions.
Boom! Drops the mike and leaves the room.
Yeah, Yeah, Yeah Buddy!!!
Saw it on NFL Network. Ravens resign Justin Forsett! Yeah Buddy!!!
Heeeeeee's Back!!! Justin Forsett that is!
Just saw on the NFL Network Justin Forsett's back! Made my whole weekend better!
Glad to have ya Tavon! Rock on Young Raven!!
Man, I'm loving' this! Great article!
Yessir! Can't wait to see you hit the field Keenan!
Just hillarious to see the swarm of users I've never ever seen on this site during the season and especially in thze offseason suddenly crawl out of the woodwork just to let us all know how clueless Ozzie is about how to draft :D :D :D
Yeah buddy, I know, right! Keep the faith and enjoy the draft! Oh and the laughs the newcomers supply! Lol
I Love these picks! 3 great rock solid players with excellent character, good work ethics and high motor skills! Oz didn't take any chances on getting a flash in the pan deva that could possibly end up being suspended or in the courts before the years end. Nor did he take any chances on players with any physical setbacks early in the draft. I love Myles Jack, but a round 2 pick was way to high for a stud that might play in 6 months. Will he need more surgery? Will he be back to full form when it's all said and done? Ozzie will be more apt to pick up players like that, earlier in the draft, after we're back in the playoff picture. But we have needs to fill right now! We had enough IR bench warmers last year! Then, if I'm right, isn't the pay for higher round picks more than the lower ones? If so, wouldn't that make the 4th round a lot more cap friendly? Leaving more room for future FA deals? Correct me if I'm wrong. There's a lot more to making these choices than meets the eye. And don't be so upset that the Ravens draft filters are a lot thicker than the other teams. After taking all this into account, I Truly believe we have taken the very best available in the draft and have a great strategy moving forward! May God Bless our Ravens and the Organization! Rock on Ravens
Sadly this will be the draft that we look back at when the Jaguires become the team to regularly knock us out of the playoffs. I love our team but I am very disappointed we traded back twice in the second round. Especially to the Jaguires that we knew would draft Myles Jack, why not get a 4th round out of it instead of a 5th. If Myles Jack wasn't the BPA when we traded back and decided he was worth a 5th Rd pick then it's a sad day to be a Ravens fan. Again I'm not bashing who we drafted but I guess it's just my fault for getting my hopes up for a difference making draft.
The Jaguars have regularly done this, and their guys haven't amounted to much... until they leave and go elsewhere. while they put good players on the field, the seldom "grow" a good team. We've seen that by bringing them to ours a few years later and they have performed for us. I trust that the Ravens made the right choices... not the popular ones..
Yes ma'am. That's what I'm talking' about!
Did y'all watch the films or sit with the scouts this year? Did ya even know or hear of Flacco before they picked him? Ozzie's the Man buddy! Don't get your panties in ruffle to quick. After this year they definitely know what spots they need to fill and how will do it! Maybe this years theme should be BELIEVE!!
How about PRAYER! Cause line up the rosters and see how we compare to other teams. Cap issues every season, dumping players that helped you win those two rings (Boldin, Dilfer, Pollard) and suffering for years to get back, handing big contracts to often injured and severely injured players (Webb, Pitta), I could write a list of bust and under achieving players since 2008, unable to extend contracts of top round draft picks , never drafted a true number one receiver in twenty years. But, OZ the man? You living on yesterday
Calm down, lol, calm down! Wipe the tears from your eyes and look! For every so called bust their is a list of free agents we've lost each year do to their value! Let alone those in the ring of honor all ready! Add all those up and what would be the average for the past 20 years? Y'all sound like a bunch of spoiled brats, whining cause y'all can't get your way! Like my man said below, how do you know? You might be looking at the next Troy Palmolive! Lol

What's more important? Future draft picks or developing the draft picks you have already made? I have nothing but the highest of praise for John Harbaugh for teaching these backups to never Quit! This Was Their Chance to Shine!! And they DID! With a backup QB that was picked up 12 days earlier! There is not enough 1st round ( unexperienced in the NFL ) picks that can replace that! Now we know just what we're working with and what gaps that need we need to fill in the draft! That was possibly the most valuable season we could have asked for under those circumstances ! Go Ravens!!
May the hand of our Lord Jesus be upon Tray and his family and may the love of our Father be in their hearts to comfort them! We all prayed the best for Tray and I can't imagine anything greater than being a Raven, except for being in the arms of our Lord! And I feel as elliottraven does. Truly the Father has Greater plans for Tray than we did!
I just opened up the website to check on how Tray was doing and get an update. Alas, my heart broke when I saw he had passed. This is simply heartbreaking as an NFL fan, let alone being a Ravens diehard. God works in mysterious ways indeed. There is a saying that the really good people are taken early because God needs them more. Maybe that was the case with Tray. Rest in peace young man. We'll remember you along with your family and you'll always be a Raven in life and in death. RIP
Amen Bro!
Thanks for sharing that with us Justin! There's no ruler that can measure that which is in a mans' heart, except He who is in Heaven. And you sir shall always stand taller than the ruler speaks!!

Guess you never bothered to watch the video above or last weeks game when he nailed Wallace with 60 yarder for a TD.
