fire John marty and Dean Id rather start from scratch then another year of these soft plays
talk to Cleveland about that. They are experts at starting from scratch.
I was wondering, when we had 9 seconds left, why did we throw it short to Pitta? That was a job for Camp. He could have gotten us a lot more yards and maybe gotten free. Marty needs to rethink his players capabilities and who best suited for what job. Not that that would have won the game but its just an example.
as soon as Juice scored I knew we had left too much time on the clock.
well, there goes the surprise.
That wasn't the worst call Ive seen. A lot had to go wrong to make it the worst call. If Flacco hadn't thrown a bone head interception it wouldn't have been such a bad call. If the Defense had stopped the Eagles just ONCE after that it wouldn't have been such a bad call. ( Im not saying it wasn't a bad call..it was. But it wasn't the WORST call of all time like people are saying.) So a lot had to go into it and a lot of people had to fail to make it the worst call of all time.
I had a KC sighting last week.....whiffing on a special teams tackle. Our next Arthur Brown.
I was screaming at the TV for Sterling. Too early to call him a AB type of bust but it doesn't look great right now
if he and perriman do not pan out than bisciotti needs to evaluate the front office and possibly make some changes. too many flops since 2009. to not have drafted or traded for a 2nd cb is a shame knowing how often brittle jimmy gets injured and how the defense struggles when he is out. need everyone in the secondary to elevate their game. need to win out and the whole team knows this. go ravens!!
if you go thru all our drafts there are a lot of flops. Same way with every other team. No ones draft is 100% or even 50%. We have done better than most teams.
I was hoping to hear that Jimmy was a least a limited participant. I guess that was just wishful thinking on my part. I assume now that Sunday is probably out of the question.
I agree to, but I have a feeling Jimmy is out for the regular season. No, I don't have any inside information on this...just a gut feeling. They said it was a "significant ankle injury" Opinions seem to guess that it was a high ankle sprain. When Lewis was diagnosed with high ankle sprain, they said it was a 6 week injury. First round of playoffs (if we make it) is right at 4 weeks. I realistically think this is the earliest possible time we could see Jimmy play.Â
AGAIN-I repeat--This is MY GUT FEELING, not a medical opinion because I have no clue the severity of the injury or even exactly what the injury is.
I agree with you 100%. I think week 1 of the playoffs is the earliest we see him. Week 2 probably makes more sense. If we take care of business and get a home playoff game, maybe we'll play a team like KC where JImmy's absent wouldn't be a complete disaster week 1 of the dance
More like week 1 of the 2017 season is the earliest you will see Jimmy on the field. He will be out for 4-6 weeks and the Ravens life support runs dry this Xmas Sunday. And the only person responsible for this mess is John Harbaugh with his piss poor game management and overly aggressive moronic coaching style with such an inept group of players.
wow and yet we still have a chance to win our division.
will be on the road for the Ravens vs Steelers. Is the NFL Network the only option for the game? The advertisement on the Ravens site says its on NBC.
I just checked and its not listed on NBC on Sunday. It IS on the NFL network like you said.
Considering what Weddle has to work with he deserves something for coming here and putting up with these guys.
considering what you have to work with, we really shouldn't take your posts seriously
you can run, but you cant hide from the force known as "The Sizz"
I always kinda wondered why we didn't put Hester in for a couple end arounds or some other play where u need someone fast and elusive. Not saying I'd rather have Hester than Camp, I was just wondering.
as soon as I heard on the radio, "Flacco back to pass" I thought " Why is he passing? That's nuts"
Seems to me everyone is forgetting we have to win at the Bungles place or the Pittsburg game doesn't matter.
Chris Moore drops too many to really count on. Hopefully they don't forget Aiken is still out there and probably the best route runner. I hope Judon gets a lot of snaps.
#1. Im looking for Judon to have a great game if he gets in enough. #2 If we don't start out running, we wont run at all. That's just the way we are. #3 if we are gonna pass we need to send some guys deep so the middle is open. This having everybody run their routes to the same yard line is nuts.
The Ravens will find a way to squander it away and lose at least 2 of the last 3 games and blow the playoff chances again. Harbaugh is going to be canned after the Bengals game. Mark it down in sharpie. If Ozzie was smart, he would find a way to get rid of Flacco in the offseason and get a competent QB in here to play some actual football. 85% of his passes and under 5 yards. That is a clueless quarterback who cannot read of bait a defense into any successful play.
and who would you suggest be our new head coach and new QB?
I remember hearing this junk in 2012 right after the Broncos beat us.
When I saw Brady showing that high emotion and fire on the sideline, I couldn't help but say "I wish Flacco was like that". I knew at that point in the 1st quarter that the game was over. Flacco cannot match the competitiveness of Brady. Only Ray Lewis was capable of pushing this team over that edge.
Which is why I was upset at people who criticized Ray for criticizing Flacco. I do not know what goes through some peoples mind, but when a legend like Ray Lewis gives out criticism, especially to a player that is playing for the team he fought for, you just shut up and listen. I'd take Ray Lewis over flacco any day...point blank. Flacco should have been thankful to get those words from Ray. he only said it because he truly cares about this organization. Unfortunately there are people in this Ravens organization that never gave as much as Ray did, but they feel like they are in a position to downplay his words.
A couple of yrs ago Reed criticized Flacco. That lit a fire under him and he played very well the next couple of games. Ray Lewis lit that fire again. We just need some veteran to criticize Flacco about every other week and we can win the S B.
wow de-ja vu. Seems like this happened before like in 2012 when we got blown out by the Broncos then had to beat them later in the playoffs to win the Super Bowl. No one gave us a chance then either. Just never count us out.
were terrible and boring to watch so their sending us to london with the other terrible teams nobody wants to watch, What an accomplishment
is this a Browns fan I'm hearing? If you think we are so boring, time to fisd another team.
he cant be much worse than Hester. Having nobody back there was better than Hester.
That view of our WRs in the Tony Massarotti tweet shows exactly what ive been talking about since game one. The WRs are all at the same level on the same yard line. That's the easiest thing in the world to defend. We need some deep, some shallow, some crossing. At least make it a challenge.
malcolm mitchell is a 4th rd rookie for the pats that plays light years ahead of perriman. why cant we develop receivers. need to focus one game at a time. the offense needs to have a players only meeting because it is awful watching it every week. happy to see hester go. not sure what we do at cb the rest of the season
It wasn't Perriman fault. Joe under thru him twice. If Joe gets the ball out front of the receivers instead of hanging it up like its his laundry, we would have won that game.
if we don't win out then i don't see us sneaking in as a wildcard. That would mean that both Denver and Miami would have to go 1-2 in the last 3 games while we go 2-1. Its possible but i wouldn't count on it.
its very possible. Denver has the toughest 3 games of anybody and Miami just lost their QB.

We have the offensive weapons, what we need is better line play. We also need better Defensive line play. I think we have the right players for both lines just not the right coaches.
