Hey give Ryan a break. Hes doing the competition series. It includes all positions and all players. I know theres not much news in this particular segment but it has to be done. Cant leave the QBs out. I did learn that Schaub was 6'6". Didn't realize he was so tall.
I know these guys are on vacation but they should have thought ahead and gave us something. Inquisitive minds like mine want to know...stuff.
the truth of the matter is the media doesn't think much of us or cover us but if you ask the teams who they hate to play, our name is always at the top. I put a lot more credence in what the teams say than the so called "experts".
I find it hard to believe there is that much distance between Mosely and Smith as starters and the other LBs as back ups that thry couldn't give Smith and Mosely a few breathers. Either Mosely and Smith are super good or our backups are way way behind.
the "Diamonds" might walk away but Ozzie always finds more. If we were to pay those outrageous salaries our Diamonds are demanding we couldn't afford to have the quality backups we now have.
I seen a lot of replays where he was open but Flacco didn't see him. If you throw him the ball...he WILL catch it.
I think the reason Maxx is lagging in the drills is because the expectations for him were so high. Don't forget hes only 20 yrs old. Its gonna take him a yr or two to get his body into NFL shape. Crockett will start most of this yr and I think will shine. Juice can pick up the slack as far as blocking or Boyle if hes up to it.
Ray Rice would have been the perfect guy to speak at the Rookie Symposium. He could have related how no matter how much you do or how much time and money you give, and no matter what your reputation is or how much you think fans love you, it can all go down the drain in a heartbeat by one bad decision.
This is why he became a Raven. He plays like a Raven, trains like a Raven and lives like a Raven.
That's not what perennial winners do? Like Manning did in the Mile High Miracle? Or Brady did the last couple times we beat them? I admit that last pass against the Patriots last year was a dumb play not only the way he executed it but the call itself but Flacco has proven time and time again he IS a perennial winner.Fusuymada, I cut down much of your comment to the part that I take a bit of issue with! Sorry! I needed to make a point and I wasn't at issue with you entire comment!
"We get ahead so we run, when the game is close we run..."
In my world Joe Flacco is not inside the #10 mark ,... read closely.... simply because he doesn't win the games he's supposed to!
The Fantasy Footballers, [might be you], in MHO are the people who root for 4,000 yard games from QBs.
While the Football Purists [definitely me] root for games won that should be won and games won that normally wouldn't by QBs!
The Divisional Championship is a case in point: Joe Flacco beats Tom Brady in Brady's house for the second time in a playoff setting by driving the Ravens down the field and managing the clock expertly and thrusting the ball over the goal line with a QB Sneak or hand-off to Justin Forsett/the Juice,..... This scenario guarantees Joe's a Top 10 QB this year!
But, Joe Flacco drives the Ravens down to the 34 yard line of the Patriots, then, quote takes a shot,... throws an interception into the end-zone ending the Ravens' playoff run,... That's not what perennial winners do!
This the way the undisciplined Joe Flacco continues to show that he doesn't have the PATIENCE to play his position to the point of stealing games the CW suggests he shouldn't win, like a Phillip Rivers playing us any and every time he does! Â
I think Poe should have pads like Ray Lewis did his first couple of seasons. Now THAT would be a makeover
lets put Brady, Manning, Romo (why hes even on the list is a mystery to me) Luck and Newton in the AFC North and see how their stats come out.
Staph infections can come from a scrape plus they can travel to different parts of the body. If it gets bad enough it could cripple or even kill a person. How can you get a staph infection in your wrist?? At 6'& 7" He absolutely should be the D tackle blocking that PAT.
Why Perriman and Waller as Twin Towers? Perriman is only 6'2". If you want some Twin Towers put Marlon Brown and Waller out there. Or Crockett Gilmore and Waller. now THATS some Twin TowersHope Williams is ok. ... Perriman and Waller Twin Towers.. Thats the dynamic duo WRs cant wait...
You know, dirtybird66, if you click on the date/time you can edit your posts. Just trying to be helpful.WHOOPS,2008
oh and just for the record...I hope Cleveland never wins a championship title in ANY sport...and I live in Ohio....same goes for Sinsinnasty
the real reason for the series in basketball and baseball is simple...MONEY. Why not spread it out over 7 games and make millions more thru TV and attendance. Its all about the green.
It doesn't matter howmuch cap money we have, ozzie isn't going to over pay anybody. He has a certain number for a top Guard and that's what he'll offer K.O. and Yanda.
personally I don't like the nickname "lightswitch" for Joe Flacco. That sounds like he is trying only part of the time.
I'm wondering do the players REALLY vote for the top 100. Sarah needs to ask the players if they really all voted and if not find out who did.
The fact that he only had 19 catches last year just wasn't right. He should have been targeted more than that. Maybe this year he'll be used a bit more as a receiver.
A Quarterback's longevity is in direct correlation to his Offensive Line's play.
has a tight end ever won offensive rookie of the year?
Field Yates (is his real name Field?) doesn't know squat about the Ravens. He didn't even get Camp's injury right. Its a tear in his QUAD, Field, not his hamstring. WE have enough talent on our roster right now, we don't need some has-been Patriot with concussion problems costing us more money while he sits on IR.

My only questions are about the injured players. Will they be back in time and if not who takes their place?
