    I would like to ask if you have any advice for me on talking to my daughter about playing football. I don't know if she will even want to play sports, but I would like to set the stage where she is not set in the trap where girls are relegated to field hockey, softball and the like.       for a girl to play football they have to REALLY want to play. Its a rough sport and she has to be able to accept contact and some pain. If getting knocked down and bowled over is going to upset her she not gonna like football.

      I was a tomboy and played everything. I got in fight with boys anf girls and didn't back down. I wasn't very big but I that didn't stop me. I started playing football when I was 9. I feel in love with it from seeing the Ravens play when they first...

      oh one other thing. I had some dogs when I was growing up. I learned how to fake and dodge by playing with them. That's another important thing shes gonna have to learn. The sooner she starts the better she'll be.
