  1. Normally I say I want every team at their full strength because to be the best you have to beat the best....this year not so much. I'll take any win anyway I can get it.
  2. YES, it IS squarely on Joes shoulders. Hes the QB, he gets paid the big bucks and if Brady or Peyton or Rogers would have been in the situation more than likely they would have found the open man and put the ball where he could get it. Don't get me wrong, I LOVE Joe and wouldn't trade him for anyone (except maybe Rogers) but in the past he had the confidence and so did we that he was gonna pull the game out....this year it doesn't look like he nor the fans expect him to. I know the defense put us in a hole the last 4 games but we had a chance to get out of it and we didn't. It was put on Joes shoulders and he didn't come thru.
  3. Waller isn't as fast as Perriman. Waller is in the 4.4 range and Perriman is a 4.2 guy, but I know what your saying. Waller could open up the field if only used as a decoy. The problem with Waller is hes fast but not quick. You'd think finding a 6'5" target in the end zone would be easier than finding a 5'9" SSS, but SSS gets open and Waller doesn't.
  4. 4 weeks in a row (including our last game last year) Joe has had the ball last with enough time to get the job done. 3 of those games he threw interceptions with the game on the line. The blame is squarely on him. If he wants to be considered elite, those are the plays he has to make.
  5. I agree 100% with you Ravens SB13. Its a good thing the players don't have the "quit" in them like some of the fans.
  6. wow, I can believe how many of you lemmings are diving over the edge of the Ravens band wagon. Fair weather fans we don't need. Every team has ups and downs and for people to say Harbaugh isn't a good coach is nuts. Its not like were getting blown out by bad teams. We are in the fights till the end against some pretty formidable teams. With a bit of luck we could be 3-0. I'm not saying we don't have problems but everybody does to some extent. Its time to put on your big boy pants, quit your whining, and act like a real Ravens fan.
  7. what if we turn our first two games around? We would all be on the offenses back for not scoring and praising the defense for holding Manning to NO TDs. The truth is we came out flat in the Oakland game and paid the price. This week our defense will be back and hopefully so will our offense. I see our biggest problem is we can't score a TD when the game is on the line. The last 3 times we've tried, Joe has thrown an interception.
  8. Will Davis has 4.37 speed and it was a 7th round. I think it was worth it.
  9. Joes footwork isn't as precise as it was last year. Joe needs to go back and do some of the drills that he learned. We could see Urban back before Perriman takes the field
  10. if it takes as long to get into a game as it did for him to get into a practice, we might first see him while were eating left over turkey.
  11. I wonder who's idea it was to only let 46 players be activated. Why not all 53? What was the thinking there?
  12. ok, so we'll be 14-2....what's the problem?
  13. Will Davis has 4.37 speed. That might have something to do with why we got him.
  14. I wonder if Will Davis can return punts and kicks.
  15. knock knock.....who's there?......Owen.....Owen who?......0 and 2!....WAAAAAAAAAAAA.
  16. Dean Pees did a pretty good job week one of shutting down Payton and the Broncos. I don't always agree with his tactics but one game does not a season make.
  17. I've heard several times that on the first couple of possessions the plays were scripted....maybe they need to unscript them.
  18. the fact that Denvers head coach knew our offense inside and out could have a lot to do with why we couldn't run...after all he kinda designed it. He knew the weaknesses of the O line too plus had practiced against the defense all last year. I look for us to bounce back against the Raiders.
  19. in school I played fast-pitch softball, basketball and until my freshman year football. As soon as I put my uniform on I was ready for any team and gave 100%. I don't understand how, if you love the game, you can NOT leave it all on the field EVERY game no matter who you are playing.
  20. Our WRs have enough speed to get downfield. Its not great speed as much as its moves. You have to know how to make the DB hesitate or turn the wrong way then you have to seize that moment to make ur cut or accelerate. Its all about reading ur opponent. The greatest receivers didn't have the greatest speed, they had the best moves, instincts, and hands.
  21. maybe they HAVE opened it up and Flacco just keeps running the same ones he likes. Hes the only constant in your equation. Joe has put the team on his back and this week he dropped them. He had several weak throws that would have made the difference.
  22. It seemed fairly obviously to me Crockett was being interfered with. It was a poor throw though.....a lot like the last one Flacco threw in the Patriots game last year.
  23. I remember Jacoby Jones muffing a punt or two....that how WE got him.
  24. From what ive seen (and I know I'm far from being an expert) he has a pretty good IQ, a good arm but his footwork needs a lot of attention. Hopefully they can work that out and improve it enough so he can be our backup in a yr or two.
  25. Ray Rice isn't doing anything and he could have his old jersey number back.
