Trestman wanted a run play? Glad he didn't call THAT. The only problem with the play that was called was Flacco should have thrown it shorter or fired it into Crockets chest. The play was fine....the throw was bad.

Webb held Fitzgerald to only 3 catches for 39 yrds. That pretty good considering Fitzgerald is having a pro-bowl type yr. That PI call in the end zone was bogus just like most of the calls the refs had.

I thought J. Smith and Webb did a pretty good job considering who they were competing against. And to that the fact they had a backup safety, I'm gonna say I was satisfied.

I don't care if that was Pitta running that route or not, Joe clearly over threw Crockett. Crockett was in the perfect position but Joe just lobbed it too far. It wasn't even close to Crockett. Joe just isn't very accurate. Oh sure sometimes he zips it in the right spot but most of the time its underthrown, overthrown or thrown behind the receiver.

there were two other calls I thought were pretty poor by the refs. The unsportsmanlike conduct on Asa. The cardinal was hanging onto his legs pushing him back, whats he suppose to do? That call should have been on both. offsetting. And the other was The call on Webb for pass interference at the goal line. That was a great play and the refs gave the Cards 3 more chances to score.

we played two 6-0 teams down to the wire plus everyone else we played. I think we can handle these guys.

perhaps the reason we have slow starts are that the first 10 plays are scripted. Lets just start out in the 2 minute offense and see how THAT goes.

I say dumb penalties (or phantom penalties) toward the end of the game. We have let so many teams out of a 3rd and long situations that allowed them to win games. Oh and for all the people sill moaning about us losing Boldin.....he and torrey are BOTH on the 49ers and they aren't exactly lighting up the NFL so get over it already.

I have a problem with the routes the receivers are suppose to run. Like Kamar and Marlon being in the same corner of the end zone. The receivers breaks are all on the same yd line which makes it easy for the safetys and corners to cover. I think we need to look at the receiver coaches and whoever is drawing out the plays. Its too easy to figure out our schemes.

my personal perspective on the matter is the defense is playing TOO cautious. We need to get right up on the line and smack em in the mouth. Play like theres no tomorrow. Our secondary is so far off of the receivers they have plenty of room to run the short routes and if they run a long route we stand there waiting on them and they are at full speed when we decide to turn around and run with them. We need to invite Ray and Ed back to M&T to give a crash course on how to prepare and study.

actually, I think you will find when you compare our number ones to other teams number ones for the last 20 yrs, weve done pretty well.

all those ankle injuries are more than likely due to a lousy field. Were just lucky Tucker didn't break his leg on that stupid field.

I would bet my Ed Reed Jersey that if we got the very first pick, Ozzie would trade down for more picks.

one thing that might help is when we have goal and 1, SPREAD the players out. 4 wide outs will open a hole better than trying to run someone up the middle with all the offensive players and all the defensive players bunched up in a tight wad. Of course Joe has to read if they are gonna cheat a safety in the middle leaving one of the wide outs open...but that's his job.

Harbaugh inherited a 5-11 team that was 6-10 the year before plus had to go with a rookie QB. He's also went to the playoffs 6 out of 7 years and won at least one playoff game every one of those years. Not to mention a couple AFC titles and a Super Bowl. What team you watching?

Rich Gannon is an idiot. He infuriated me thoughout the game with his so called "insight". If there wasn't a 5 second delay between the Ravens announcers and the TV I would have gladly turned him off.

It might be time to hit the panic button if we were getting blown out of games but a few different refs and a couple of lucky bounces and we'd be 5-0.
