Elam cant go on pup cuz he wasn't already on pup. Put him on IR then bring him back , if we need him, in 6 weeks

I don't see why they cant have him out there with a cast on and just running routes and catching with his good hand. At least he be getting time with Joe.

I'm thinking (and I could be wrong) that the running backs problem was more of a O-line problem. For a running back to run thru a hole there has to BE a hole.

Just wanted to point out or call to remembrance the fact the Ravens use vanilla game plans in the preseason. This means the D getting marched on is not a huge concern. If this was a full on game strategy being deployed and executed as it was, then yes you would have a valid point. Vanilla play calling means basic plays, not plays that designed to take advantage of certain line ups or schemes, tendencies, etc. just wanted to point out that the colts are playing vanilla too.

we can all say goodbye to Jerrod Johnson. Butler is really looking good. The running backs seem to set up and start a lot farther back than the Colts running backs do so ours have to run 5 yds just to get to the line of scrimmage. Pees better quit being so timid when the other teams starting QB is in. We play WAY off the receivers.

This is where Lewis shows hes a starter. Also this is where Reynolds shows hes not. With Kendricks Lewis and Kyle Arrington both sidelined I betting our secondary will look a lot better.

I would look at the running backs for a returner. They all have good hands and we have a lot of them. Forget Reynolds, hes going on the practice squad. If camp can stay healthy the job is his.

This!! I'm sure no one is more frustrated with this than Periman himself. As fans we should support our players. He did nothing wrong (injuries did this to him). I agree and I think people aren't giving enough attention to the tight ends. Boyle, Waller, and Brown all made great plays and the players at the position were consistently open. It was a thing of beauty after seeing targets disappear last season. I think Flacco will have a bunch of intermediate threats with tight ends to overpower defenders. Also I can't wait to see Wallace play more than a couple snaps. I want to see Mallett fling the ball at him deep to open up the running game even more. lets not forget WR Butler. He had a really good game too.
