The injury is the big question mark.  But they say he'll be ready to go week 1 and is penciled in.  Before that injury, he's never missed a game and has been a rock.  I think he's underrated.  In 2010 he finished as the 3rd best pass blocker according to pro football focus. He's still in his 20's as well (29).  

 

Another guy that gets a bad mark because of the guys around him.  

Agreed and at this point its a good pick, I was considering him several rounds earlier and the other guys I was considering had fewer question marks and/or injury concerns. If I had still been needing a Center at this point he would have been at the top of my list.

Ok ok everyone needs to relax, mistakes were made, they have been acknowledged. Having things dissolve into name calling and finger pointing gets us nowhere, but more frustration.

I like the pick, I was considering him for my center, his injury issues scared me off though. Otherwise he is a fantastic pick.

I went with Durant here to finish my LB corps up.  I had been considering Durant longer than I can think of so to get him here is a big win in my books.  He is the prototypical SAM LB to have.  He was by far the best one left on the board and with the other OLBs gone, I'm surprised that Durant was left.

 

This now makes my LB corps look like this:

 

WILL: Bruce Carter

MIKE: Kevin Minter

SAM: Justin Durant

 

This isn't the best LB corps but it is a very good one in my opinion.  Carter is a perfect WILL and is ready for a breakout year.  Minter is a rookie but I project him as a solid LB for years to come.  Durant is what you think of for a SAM LB.  He won't play in nickel formations but, I don't need him to with Carter and Minter both being very able in these formations.

This is true, only a few of us saw it before you took it down sizzle and I don't know if hawkprey was even one of them.

Blackbirds PMed him that he was up so he posted his pick, but there was confusion because PuRock had gone out of order to make a pick from 5SBs as PuRock was taking over from his team and his last pick had been skipped. Sizzle posted his pick thinking it was his turn, which it wasn't, so his selection was revealed early. And the guy he was targeting was the guy you just took...

sizzle is going to be really pissed...

As far as the pick, I know Carimi is basically in bust territory now, but I think he has good potential at Guard. I was hoping he would keep slipping so I good grab him later.

Pick in...Stephenson completes my OL..I know he is practising at G for the Chiefs and played alot better then I expected him to as a Rookie..beyond athletic and a perfect fit in a zone scheme, plus he is versatile

So what happened? Did PuRock pick out of turn?

He made his pick that had been previously skipped from round 19.

I think what happened is then Blackbirds saw that PuRock was the last person to pick, assumed that meant sizzle was up. Since Blackbirds picks after sizzle, he PMed him to let him know because he was eager to make his own pick. But no one had looked at the board to realize the pick PuRock had made was not in the regular order of things, but rather a "make up" pick.
