  1. I love Kiko. It was between him and Moore for me. I went with Moore but it would've gone either way, honestly. I went with Moore because I felt he was the most scheme-versatile of the two and the slightly bigger playmaker who could play at ILB or OLB in the 3-4 as well as WLB in the 4-3. Great pick with him. He's a bit stupid sometimes off the field and it may come back to be a problem later, but I have no doubt that he'll be a good player for the long haul.

The more I looked into Kiko the more I felt like his "issues" were more in line with what happened to Jimmy Smith, silly mistakes made by a young guy, he hasn't had any in two years since the DUI. My other worry was his injuries, but it was a ACL tear a year ago and then just a wrist injury, they don't scream "injury-prone" just a hard hitting football player who gets the normal nicks and bruises that come with the game.

  2. Just to let everyone know, I will be away without internet access all of next week. I left my upcoming pick with ravensdan. If I'm not back before the end of the next round, you have my permission to just skip my picks right off until I get back, so I don't hold things up.

That is very thoughtful of you FA, thanks and have a good trip!!

  3. The pick is in. I'm living dangerously with selecting another real-life FA, but Nick Barnett had two very solid seasons in 2011 and 2012, without missing a single start. He was cut because of a failed physical, but as Ian Rapoport pointed out afterwards, it meant little since, "Any team can make any player fail a physical." Barnett's a stop gap option given his age, but he's still a dependable every down LB, and that's more that I could ask for in one of the final rounds.

I like Barnett, but given his age there are some younger options I'd have gone with first.

  4. Nice. It came down to him or Spaeth for me. He's got a fair amount of versatility

Yeah my strategy for my offense to be very multiple, I have a typical "Joker" TE in Locker, an in-line TE in Bennett and a H-Back/TE/FB in Casey, plus Tate and Roberts can line up anywhere.

I have a crazy play in my head where I can direct snap it to Tate and double reverse two Roberts and then Casey and Casey can unload a bomb (Casey and Roberts have experience playing QB from their high school/ college days lol). It nuts and would most likely never work, but the idea is exciting lol

Nicely done. Ellison was my #1, Casey my #2 at FB/TE. Ellison edged him out due to age.

Its only 3 years, IMO that's not a big enough difference and I feel his skill set is better than Ellison. But that is my opinion (I might be biased now lol), but they are both fantastic H-Back type guys.

  5. All the picks are in and I've PMed RavensAllTheWay to let him know he is up next.

    Just to recap:

horus took Ryan Mallett as his QB.

    Prophet took Russell Allen, LB.

I took James Casey as my FB and to add another versatile weapon to my offense along side RGIII, I think he's going to be a monster now that he's in an offense with the Eagles that will utilize his wide range of skills to their fullest. Heck he could even be a spot back-up QB if Griffin were to get hurt (j/k).
