  1. Yeah I didn't like the Ertz pick. I didn't get that one considering the talent left.

IIRC when he made the pick we had gotten past the top level TE starters and were left to solid starter/above-average guys so with the upside that Ertz has I don't think its a terrible pick.

I needed a TE. And he's a rookie with big upside. I really like his upside. And Gabe stole Eifert from me. Which is why I'm pissed

Based on the upside I couldn't fault the pick, I was going to take him as TE2 to pair with Bennett so I was mad when you took him. His upside is big so he was worth the risk there IMHO

  2. Lol

MJD and RG3 will be injured by week four

Alfred Morris is one of the toughest RBs in the league

Plus, Staley is the best run blocker in the NFL

    Don't sleep on my QB

Good that Staley is a good run blocker, can be block 3 guys by himself?

Morris has one year under his belt and he benefitted greatly from his QB.. Who is on my team now.

MJD will be a stud, his injury  wasn't as bad as everyone things it is/ He basically was spared a year from getting pounded (like Morris would be if we played) on a bad Jag team.

RG3 will play smarter this year and he will have better passing weapons than he did with the Redskins.

Agreed but sometimes it just reads as hefty animosity..by no means am I saying stop

If there is any animosity it is only in good natured ribbing. I'm not trying to be intentionally harsh or mean, its just a little harmless trash-talk.

  3. I see you. Can they defend the run?

Actually aren't you the guy starting McPhee and Williams

    *sits back, wins by 40*

    jk lol

Well seeing as you have no QB, your "great" WRs aren't going to do jack for you so I can just load the box and pound poor Alfred Morris into an early retirement while RG3 and MJD break so many ankles on your defense that you'll have to start putting Megatron on D just to try and keep up.

  4. yea but you only have two of them and no TE....there are a lot of people who have two quality CB's and since you have no QB it could be tough for your below average QB to beat man to man coverage....but there are teams that have 3 above average WR's and one or two great receiving TE's that's a coverage nightmare

Stephon Gilmore and and DRC say hello  :bye:

  5. I would like to propose an idea here. Since Sizzle has had a rather entirely unexpected move by losing Hernandez to what appears to be jail time how about give him an extra pick at the very end of this process. Otherwise he'd be stuck with 24 players and not 25. What do you guys think of that? He wouldn't be ahead of anyone or anything. He would essentially receive the final pick which would be the extra pick.

That is if Sizzle even wants that. Just figured it would be a decent proposal to compensate someone for something entirely unexpected.

Nobody would be at a disadvantage here.

I would be fine with that, it would be like a compensatory pick.

I'm fine with that, as long as anyone who drafts a player who retires or gets cut and doesn't resign is afforded the same opportunity. For example, Rolando McClain or Chris Gamble

Sizzle's instance is a matter of the guy won't be available to play, he will most likely be in jail. If a guy you drafted retires R. McClain-style then maybe you get an additional pick, but if you take a guy like Dan Koppen who then retires then I don't think so because he was so old by this point that you would kind of expect him to retire.

If a guy is cut like Gamble that doesn't mean he can't still play so they wouldn't get a pick for that.

Personally I think unless another guy comes up who is going to jail that has already been drafted, we shouldn't be handing out extra draft picks. Sizzle's instance was unexpected because no one saw that coming, someone retiring or getting cut isn't the same.

  6. This is starting to look like its going to be the O-line round, everyone has taken their "sexy" players now were are all starting to build the "big uglies" lol

I'm a little annoyed by the Warford pick, I don't know how I missed him in all my research.

I like the Martin pick, though I think he's better suit to play LT so I didn't have him high on my list as I have my LT already, but he  brings good versatility as he could jump over to LT if you're starter was to go down.

Kelce is a good pick as well, I was debating taking him or Goodwin to move Costa to guard, but that decision was made for me this round lol

  7. yep pm was sent already

tackles are getting scarcer by the pick lol

Yeah the last few picks before I was on the clock were making me nervous so I took Justice a little earlier than I would have otherwise, but there is still solid depth at all the other positions I still need while OT has been basically picked clean of the unquestioned starters or top level rookies.

  8. Yeah, but we have like 5 people's opinions.

We should post a separate thread to gather the votes, perhaps even pMing those we can to get their vote. Also remember them someone who votes no may choose not to participate even if the majority votes yes. In the end we only signed up to do 25 rounds of players at the beginning and some people may not want that changed.
