I agree there are better guards on the board, but I took him to be a center as the position had been pretty well picked clean by this point. There were a few guys that I liked better than him, but they all were either seriously on the wrong side of the age equation or had even bigger question marks than Costa IMO

Pick is in, there were some other players at other position that I had rated slightly higher than Costa, but he was the last Center I truly felt comfortable taking, he was ready to start for the Cowboys before he was hurt and the Jerry Jones pulled a jerry by drafting Fredrick in the 1st. He's still 25 and is only going to get better.

I will be honest I'm happy seeing all these CBs going as it means people aren't targeting players in the positions I'm looking at now. That being said I like them, they are solid picks. Manning was on my short list of SS possibilities.
