    In all seriousness, as much as it pains me to say this, if you are going OSU in B1G, then I say it's their time to take the National Championship.

     

    btw - I looked at 'Bama's schedule. Could someone tell me how they have as many home games as they do? 7 home games out of 12 and then they get to play Va-Tech in Atlanta...so really 8

    Y'all hating on spacey but through the 90s and early 00s he was great

    Haven't really liked his roles in recent years outside of 21

    I'd say the only time that I really liked him was in A Time to Kill...but that might be because the entire cast did a knock-out job in that movie

    I didn't know that was streaming, thanks for the point out. I'll have to give it a watch sometime soon.  

    I would say watch only if there's absolutely nothing else to watch, and you are really bored and want to watch a movie.

     

    On separate note, another real good one, similar to Margin Call is Limitless. It's actually not available for streaming right now, but be on the lookout for it since they will bring movies back. It's got Bradley Cooper (Hangover, A-Team) in it. Very very good flick

    Just finished revisiting Who Framed Roger Rabbit (1988) which is streaming on Netflix.  I loved this film as a kid and some parts even freaked me out.  It's one of those rare nostalgic films which is actually really good.  Today I marvel more at the concept, Film Noir w/ toons.  Brilliant!

     

    It's still unique to this day.  Some tried to copy its success but have failed.  

    Well if you're going to make confessions like that, I guess I'll go too.

     

    I watched Terrell Suggs's movie The Coalition (on Netflix).  Cheezy, but a well done first production nonetheless. As a participant in the arts, its not easy to take the initial leap whether actor/writer/musician. If he graduates on to some other type of genre (this was more of a drama), he'll definitely be adding to his toolkit and versatility.

    Well, that was unexciting.  I was at least hoping for a close game since I'm not really a fan of either team.

    You're kidding. That was uber-excitement. Best team Brazil has fielded since 2002 World Cup easily.

     

    They took the Kings of Football to the woodshed and beat them like they were nothing but a bunch of peasants

    It's not as intense as those, but Margin Call (2011) is a very good movie.  A start studded cast about the economic collapse in 2008.  Its pretty great considered it was made on a shoe string budget of 3.3M and has Kevin Spacey, Paul Bettany, Jeremy Irons, Zachary Quinto, Demi Moore, and Stanley Tucci.  These guys were working for peanuts which is quite shocking.

     

    And I believe you've already saw Glengarry Glen Ross.   But there is also the Hudsucker Proxy, and Thank You for Not Smoking. There really aren't too many come to think about it.

    Margin Call was ok. These days I really can't stand Kevin Spacey, but from my days of working at an investment bank, he kind of fits the persona. I didn't know who the junior trader is. Jarvis from Iron Man was pretty good and Spok was very blah. Wasn't bad but wasn't great either

    No opinion. They haven't gone on my list yet lol.

    In order of most to least hated:

    1a. Brazil

    1b. Germany

    1c. France

    4. Argentina

    5. Spain

    Man. You don't hate Germany...you loathe Germany!

     

    I have always loved the German side. Always play like a well oiled machine. They always seem to have the least athletic players but still wind up a solid bunch.

     

    I think the French's best days are behind them even though I was impressed with the U20 team I saw the other day, but I can't put my finger on them. They are just blah.

     

    As far as European teams are concerned, Spain, Germany, and Italy will always have a shot at the World Cup. I'm not sure what clicked for Spain to all of a sudden start winning tournaments on the national level, but for all 3, they have the leagues that are the most homegrown. Stars in the Serie A are Italian, stars in the Bundesliga league are German, etc unlike the Premier league where the majority of stars are non-English

    Seemed like a feel-good movie.  Was Freeman good, at least?

    Yeah Freeman definitely plays a lot of those know it all roles. He didn't disappoint. Hulk was solid. I really liked the kid from Social Network. He does a great job at being condescending and playing the intellectual role. Woody was awesome

    Why is it that there is always a guy that sails the ball waaaay over top the goal post? Why can't guys that miss just miss wide left or right? I can't understand these guys that skyrocket the ball the way they do

    But also coming back from a knee injury that cost him all of last season.

     

    ACL injuries used to be career enders, but now athletes are coming back from it stronger than ever.

     

    I guess medical practice has improved dramatically from the past decade.

    So wait - is your final stance that the guy will be ok? Or no? I need to know so I can set a smoke screen for my 2nd TE pick before Nflfan123 starts suggesting what my real next move will be.

     

    A little Game Theory you know...it's not just in Economics...

    Wow, when it rains it pours. Geesh!  Don't take this the wrong way, but praying for our guys to make wise decisions before camp!
