Funny...I was just thinking that same thing
Saw Wolverine. Was pretty good. I'm excited about a few movies coming up - particularly Paranoia and Jobs
I'm not typically a dumb movie person, but even World's End looks like it'll be a good film
Are you excited for Elysium, too?
YESSIRRRRR!!! I saw the trailer a while back at the movies and wondered to myself if I was going to be an oddball for thinking it looked like a good movie.
Good read. Thanks for sharing!
all the better for you now that we're going this extra round - Maclin's out for the season and you could get a replacement
I think I was officially checked out after the 22nd round.
I see you have Ed Dickson on the roster so the Pitta news - in a Fantasy world, is not so end of the world for you
When we are finished with these 26 rounds there's no way I'll be doing this. This thing was fun and I liked it better than the other method we played but I'm personally done with this game with the 26th pick for this team I'm doing for Arnie.
26 rounds? Thought it was 25?
Knighton should've been taken a LONG time ago.
Nice pick
I personally think 'it was too early for him'
Aww poor you, actually having to look back 10 picks. Cry about it.
It's quite difficult you know. I guess now that I've finally had a chance to dry my eyes I can be over it and prepared for the next selection
Sorry for the delay. A certain thread organizer appears to be on vacation so I had to do more work than usual in searching the draft tracker for available players

Most of you probably dont care, but I am highly optimistic about the USMNT. They are very deep, should be interesting to see what the WC squad looks like.
The level of play in MLS is not sufficient enough to get them past the round of 16. Granted, more and more of USMNT is playing abroad, but they are still on the trajectory. Also, more importantly, MOST IMPORTANTLY, it's a cultural thing that Jurgen Klinsmann alluded to. He had probably the most brilliant statement ever...he said
'...you Americans have it backwards. You put your kids through the grass roots process and hope that they end up with a scholarship...'
If we applied the American baseball farm system model to MLS (obviously what they do in Europe), they'd instantly make every WC group The Group of Death.

Reminds me of when Ronaldo scored on a free kick and had to show everybody his quadricep
picks in
Control + F must not like you very much.
not really. I just thought I saw Werner selected earlier.
Not exactly like the Conte pick, but kind of like it. And I know there was another time where someone made a selection and went back and altered it
haha I'm not. Just putting my thoughts out there.
In other news Werner is a very good pick. I'm surprised he lasted this long.
Why is it that every time i look at the draft board I feel like there's a guy being drafted who I thought was already drafted
I like the Idonije pick. Solid veteran depth
Heck detectives wouldn't even sort it out
I don't think JGL would be a good Batman. I think he's a great actor and I like him a lot, but not as Batman. He's not butch enough to be Batman, and not suave enough to be Bruce Wayne. Ultimately, WB will probably want to keep the character grounded as Bruce Wayne before getting into controversial comic book mumbo jumbo, and I don't think JGL can be that. But we are coming off the undisputable greatest portrayal of Bruce Wayne, and arguably the best portrayal of Batman. People make fun of the voice, but it makes a ton of sense for trying to mask who you are.
As if civilians would sort that part out...
Thanks, I nearly took him a few rounds ago, so I was very happy that he made in back to me.
Nice. It came down to him or Spaeth for me. He's got a fair amount of versatility
I'll take Bridgewater.
I'll tell you who could have been a star and that's the Casey Pachall kid from TCU.
Unfortunately, he brings a ton of off the field baggage
I'll take Bridgewater.
He appears to have a high ceiling
I agree. I don't see him having a successful NFL career.
Side note: People on these boards are crazy with the arbitrary negs lol.
What happened? Were there a bunch of negs?
Curious if people view Johnny Manziel as an NFL QB
While size and stature have been constantly proven to be non-determining factors, hard for me to see him as a pocket passer. I don't recall being wowed by his arm strength, but then I can't say I saw him make some big throws. At 185lbs, wondering if his frame could withstand the NFL hits. Obviously he could be +15lbs by the end of the next 2 or 3 yrs but he doesn't appear to have Mike Vick speed, nor does that 200lb frame strike fear into anyone similar to Tim Tebow's frame
Ah makes sense now lol
Went to grad school there so it was just 2 yrs. Best 2 yrs ever
Wanted to make the pick with Joe Thomas, had no shot at JJ Watt or Russell Wilson, forgot all about Travis Frederick, wasn't really interested in Gabe Carimi, thought about how I could have gone Montee Ball if I didn't go RB in the flippin first round, and wasn't too keen on any of their tight ends.
Thought now was the best time to go Moffitt
...my alma mater
Whats it about?
Ahh yes of course
A news reporter and his bestie camera man looking to find the head honcho in the Bosnian Serbian War...big time War criminal. No one seems to be able to find him and none of the locals really care to disclose his whereabouts. They want to sit down and interview him, but the word around town is that the camera man and reporter are CIA and want to take him out
