  1. Nobody is going to like my next pick, but I have been longing to make a homer pick like this the entire draft
  2. I streamed a pretty good flick on Netflix called Hunting Party - Richard Gere, Terrence Howard and Jesse Eisenberg the Social Network kid. Definitely a good film. I liked it all the way up until the last 5 minutes. I was going to give it 5 stars and then they just went lame-O on it at the end so I only gave it 4, but I definitely recommend to anyone who has gone through their queue or must watch list already
  3. Great news. I did see he was going to be challenging for the #4 WR spot though. Wonder who the frontrunner is for the #3 spot. Maybe Colston or Moore misses significant time and he moves up
  4. I love the Toon pick but only because I spent 2 awesome years in Wisconsin watching him catch balls in the end zone from Scotty Tolzien and then Russell Wilson. I'm real hopeful for his NFL career similar to how Ravens fans are hopeful for Tandon Doss and Deonte Thompson. Just don't know that he gets to make a name for himself with all the receiving threats that Brees will be looking for first. Plus I don't know that he's bringing anything to the table in Special Teams. He's got great size to be a possession receiver and has the NFL Royalty with his dad having had a solid career...not that that will count for much
  5. The android keyboard is fine. The way it autocorrects as soon as you turn your head is the part that makes me want to scream at the top of my lungs
  6. HA!!! I was filtering the draft page to see who was gone and there were 3 occasions where I thought I'd have to settle with 2 unprovens, and 1 super veteran. Kept filtering and checking and was a shocked and flabergasted (sp?) to see this guy was still around
  7. Thanks. I'll be back to constant yapping shortly....
  8. Thanks for the concern. Just a lot of traveling and family stuff. 'preciate it! Pick is in
  9. Agreed. But what about Cody? I'm not suggesting Ozzie isn't the man. But the thought that a great coach missed on a couple players and is no longer good at identifying talent is beyond a stretch. That same argument can be made of everyone. That was my only point
  10. That could be a bit of a stretch you think? The same could be said of Ozzie not taking Geno Atkins 2010 4th rounder. Baltimore selected Sergio Kindle, Terence Cody, Ed Dickson in the 2nd and 3rd rounds.
  11. When it rains, it pours: http://www.usatoday.com/story/sports/nfl/broncos/2013/07/09/tom-heckert-dui-matt-russell/2504209/
  12. I tried this and it was mysteriously deleted from the draft thread. Maybe you'll have better luck...
  13. Perhaps this thing should definitely shut down after the last pick of the 25th round? *tempers flaring*
  14. The Bears still haven't made amends to the Ravens after the whole Jimmy Smith ordeal. Granted they ended up landing their man, but the principle of the matter was ignored....
  15. and i thought there was somebody else that was just selected? at least i thought i saw some player other than joe lefeged?
  16. what's going on now?
  17. eeeeewwwwww
  18. Unless I did the math wrong, that would make 10 players on my roster. Davis is the slot guy technically Spaeth is TE1. We can play all sorts of chess matches since he does have the ability to catch by default. Also by default, he can be a pretty good goal line threat at 6'7"
  19. Kirk Cousins needs the run game to be AWESOME re: Peterson, you initially selected him. We could do a 3 team trade like the funny stuff they pull in basketball
  20. As in Monty Python's Flying Circus? If you actually wanted him, I'll happily trade him for.....Patrick Peterson. I'll even throw in KO since there seemed to be an abundance of LG talent, while not as abundant at RG
  21. Uhm...right So Fred Davis I have playing in the slot and he may occasionally be lined up next to one of the tackles
  22. pick is in. pm sent to ballhawk
  23. danGit Calvin!!
  24. He's a locomotive. He already has command of the offense, and the team went out and had a pretty good draft. A draft good enough to help them continue the upward trajectory that they are on.
