  1. You can also add a high pressure turbo set up and make a four seated civic run 120 trap speeds. But i'd still prefer a ZR1 over it. Lol
  2. I think this quote from Edmunds says it pretty well: ...so we limited our test to the 2004 Dodge Ram SRT-10 and the 2004 Ford F-150 SVT Lightning. The Silverado SS was excluded because it's just too much like a regular Silverado. If Chevy decides to drop the new 'Vette engine under the hood of a Silverado 1500 standard cab and add the appropriate wheels, tires, brakes and suspension, then we'll talk about a three-truck comparison test. Until then, Ford and Dodge have the baddest muscle trucks around. My link Don't get me wrong...when it comes down to it, all three are good in their own aspects. MOD NOTE: Please include a link to this article. Ty.
  3. Yeah first thing to do with those things was to rip that stupid Vortech supercharger off it.
  4. Being a Chevy man I was still largely unimpressed with the SS. I mean Ford had the Lightning; Dodge the SRT10; Chevy the SS.
  5. I thought he was trying to be funny.
  6. Oh yeah. Now those things are nice!
  7. Surely you mean the Terminator- 2003-2004 models. The '99 started the 'new look'. But the 03-04 Cobras with the under-rated 390hp supercharged engines are the best modern Cobra ever made. Those things are beasts!
  8. I don't know...my Avalanche could drag the F150 across the pavement that I traded in for it.
  9. Yeah, Ford trucks have been pretty vanilla since the introduction of the 11th generation- 2005+. I thought the 1997 model was pretty nice and forced Chevrolet to step up and make a larger, better looking truck. Now the F150 is just a big box covered with tacky, plasticy, chrome trim. The Sierra is a much more visually appealing truck, imo. Chevrolet has always trumped the other 2 in technology and power. Ford and Dodge are always chasing the Chevy's power. I still would love to have an SRT-10 Ram or Jeep GC though. Those things are sweet!
  10. When the Mark II body style came out I wanted one, but they were so damn expensive...for a guy right out of high school. I ended up getting a pampered Conquest TSI for $7500 and wrecked it about a half year later. The good thing was at least I didn't end up upside down as I would have buying that MR2. lol
  11. I'm more concerned with 346whp on a front wheel drive car. Holy torque steer and wheel hop Batman!
  12. Sweet car Twoo!
  13. Hey, easy on Cadis. I would love to have a new CTS-V!
  14. He found a GT500 without a motor?!
  15. Don't forget Tesla Motors...in case you have $100K lying around.
  16. Actually Kid Rock drove a 79 10th Anniversary Trans Am- 400 c.i. V8 in the movie. Oh Yeah!!!
  17. And what do you drive.....
  18. So to you motorhead is a lot more vague term than I. That's all. It's kinda like some people envision bikers as anyone who rides a motorcycle. But I guess I am bit old school in that a biker I still think of Sonny Barger, Peter Fonda, Dennis Hopper. Likewise, I would rather see anything Corvette, Camaro, Mustang, Charger, Challenger, Viper, etc., etc., etc. whooping up on anything made overseas! GO JOE DIRT!!!!
  19. No offense, but with a topic titled Motorheads..these engines do not come to mind. Those of us true motorheads know it is all about one thing- displacement. I also found it amusing this thread is about a BMW. Motorheads...Bimmers=
