Wow, Tom Cruise and Mia Sara. That's a throwback.
Don't forget the awesome performance of Tim Curry
Absolutely LOVED Easy A; I'm surprised it wasn't a bigger box-office hit or got more buzz. It was a pretty good ensemble cast for a mid-budget comedy, and it got great reviews. I also have or have had a crush on virtually every actress in the movie, so that helped. lol.
I haven't seen it, but a friend recommended it to me. He also said the director plans to complete a triology that takes place at the same school, but using two other classic works of literature.
boooooo
I mean, I liked the scene, but I have some friends describing it as "OMYGASH BLOOD GUTS TORTURE KILL STAB". I was kind of expecting something different, but once I figured out all the meaning behind it, it was actually well done.
Haven't seen Ichi the Killer. Should I?
I recommend it, only if you have a strong stomach.
Watched Audition recently. It was okay, but too much hype was put into it, especially the ending scene. I expected much better from that scene, but it was okay. I read an interesting article about it which explains the whole movie, and it makes much more sense now. It's probably best though if you watch it without any prior knowledge about the movie.
I don't know what you were expecting with that scene. I think it's a great example of Takashi Miike using restraint and letting your imagination do the rest. This is doubly so considering Miike has made some of the goriest films I've ever seen like Ichi the Killer.
Zombieland and 2004 Dawn of the Dead were pretty good.
Zombieland was indeed good. The Dawn of the Dead remake was a competent horror film, but doesn't come close to the original. I like my zombie movies sprinkled with social commentary.
Well for the record I havent even heard of any of the foreign films you've mentioned haha.
It's not my fault you're a philistine
Anyone seen The Butterfly Effect with Ashton Kutcher? I thought it was pretty good
Awful

BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
No
He Loves Me, He Loves Me Not is a French film starring Audrey Tautou who is in love with a married man. He seems like a jerk until the movie changes to his point of view.
I feel like I should mention that the movies I listed are all subtitled. If you hate reading movies, you don't deserve to watch them anyway.
I've recently grown fond of Danish movies despite the fact that I always want to drive my car headfirst into a tree after watching them. Here's a few that I would highly recommend:
The Green Butchers - A dark comedy about two friends who open up a butcher shop and through a series of mishaps, end up secretly serving human flesh...and they get very popular.
Adam's Apples - Another dark comedy about a perpetually optimistic man who runs a halfway house for ex-cons, and a new boarder who tries to break his spirit.
The Kingdom - A horror tv show by Lars Von Trier that takes place in a hospital that's being haunted by spirits. This was the inspiration for Stephen King's "Kingdom Hospital"
The Celebration - A drama centering on a father's 60th birthday with family and friends at the hotel he owns. Things go awry when the eldest son brings up a dark secret from his childhood. (This is considered Denmark's greatest movie. It makes sense when you consider that it's commonplace for Danish families never to mention bad things that have happened in the past)
Withering Lights - Along with his three accomplices, a low-level gangster steals a large amount of money for his boss, and then runs away with it. While lying low in the middle of nowhere, he falls in love with the place and tries to open a restaurant.
Also anything else by Lars Von Trier...except Antichrist. Don't watch that.
Ã…rhus, Denmark in Europe.
- You probably don't run into alot of Danes in here
My fiance lived near there for 6 months.
It was announced today the Cincinnati WR Chad Ochocinco will host this weeks Monday Night Raw to promote his VH1 show Ochocinco: The Ultimate Catch.Be interesting to see what fake hijinks he gets into.

The Ceo of GM has dual responsibilities. He is the Chairmen of the Board along with being ceo of the company. Basically a lot of Veto power.
More like Chairman of the BORED
When I get my degree from Harvard (County Community College) I'm going to become the CEO of GM.
Why doesn't a mod merge this topic and the GM topic together because it almost means exactly the same thing...
That's because GM doesn't make cars per se. They're more ****boxes.
Born and raised in Baltimore, lived in Orlando, now in Lake Geneva, WI (somewhat between Chicago and Milwaukee, only farther west)
Sorry, I live in the upper Midwest. I'm in southern Wisconsin between Milwaukee and Chicago.
Born in Baltimore, spent the last 5 years in Orlando.
Ravens fan/Baltimore native in Orlando here. We usually go to the Orlando Ale House or Friday's Front Row on game day. There are usually a few other Ravens fans there as well. Go Ravens!!!!
I usually watch the games at Oh Boys in Winter Park. I haven't gone in the past few weeks, but at least I get to watch the Skins' game in the comfort of my own home.
Whats up fellow Ravens Fans!! I'm originally from the Eastern Shore of MD but moved recently to Tampa, Florida and needless to say I bleed purple. Direct TV's Sunday Ticket has saved any withdraws I would of had by not getting any Ravens games down here, but it would be cool to hang out with some Ravens Fanatics on gameday. The Dolphins are hosting the Ravens this fall so that could be a possibility or better yet the Super Bowl is held in Tampa this year so LET's GO RAVENS...this is the year! Anyways if your in the tampa area and want to party with some fellow Raven lovers hit me back.
I live in the Orlando area and have the misfortune of watching games where a whole bunch of Browns fans go as well. They usually leave me alone since I don't try to start any trouble with them and have a pretty good sense of humor when they start cracking jokes.

Minority Report could have been great if it ended when
War or the Worlds was just ok. I could have done without the whole part with Tim Robbins, just seemed unnecessary. Also, the ending was lame.
Spielberg ruins his movies by insisting on happy endings.
Nothing he does will ever be as good as Schindler's List. That's the only movie I'm not ashamed to tell people that I've cried watching.
