You can eat my pudding
Due Date was an exercise in tedium for me. While I like absurd humor and I enjoy most films with Robert Downey, Jr. and Zach Galifianakis, this combination didn't work as well as it should've. The entire film was just awkward all across the board. The pacing was off, the setpieces were difficult to watch, and the humor was uneven. There weren't as many laughs as I expected. I don't recommend it at all.
I agree with this. However, there were two scenes that made me laugh quite a bit. When Robert Downey Jr. punched the kid in the stomach, and then again when he spit in the dog's face.
I saw "I Am Number Four" this past Sunday morning ($5 at AMC for shows before Noon)... anyway, it was actually pretty good and worth seeing in theaters if you can.
I refuse to pay money for any movie that is in any way affiliated with Michael Bay
I think most people these days forget that the original Tron wasn't that great to begin with.
I fell asleep watching Inception...
My nominees would've been: Salt, Takers, Tron and The A-team.
My vote would be on The A-team, hilarious and actiony. I love it
That's why you don't get to choose the nominees
He was awesome in that role... and then he got a swastika carved into his forehead.
You...you know that was just in the movie, right?
I almost want to see The Green Hornet just because he is the bad guy in it.
...almost
While certainly a very good movie, Man On Fire is nowhere near the top of my list of favorites.
Nothing special. It definitely shouldn't of won movie of the year.
At least Avatar didn't win
Unknown looks like Taken meets The Net
I wouldn't say that's snobbish so much as it's "showing your age"
Since I'm only 26, it's more snobbery than anything. Since I hadn't been born when the original was released.
Not to sound like a snob but the original The Crazies was better and the book for The Road was better.
/snobbery
Sunshine was awesome, as was Slumdog Millionaire. I do hate how zombie movies have decided to take the fast zombie thing from 28 Days Later and make it stupid.
Adam Sandler has officially lost his touch. Just Go With it was bad...real bad...
Let me guess, he realizes he loves Jennifer Aniston
has anyone looked at "the lovely bones"?? the story seems good, i was thinking of watchin it
For a Peter Jackson movie, I was disappointed. It certainly had some cool stuff going on in it, but the pacing was off. Also Marky Mark in a serious role is rarely good news.
Confucious says: Can a movie about robots and braless women running around explosions in slow motion really be considered bad?
Yes, Transformers 2. I have less hope for this one.
BTW, anybody have any opinions on the new Transformers movie coming up?
Garbage
RICHMOND VA finally on the board so u will see my name often during this off-season to prepare for another Super Bowl run next year.
Fixed that for you
GM wants to hire me as their CEO
Saw Yogi Bear... wasn't great but loved the alternate ending...
That's from The Assassination of Jesse James by the Coward Robert Ford.
Another movie ruined by Russell Crowe. I agree, great Denzel performance though.
Virtuosity was a way better Washington vs. Crowe flick.

I can't stand either of those movie. Russell Crowe ruins it for me with his 'I want to puke on your shoes' face.
Gladiator I can watch, but I don't herald it as much as most.
"Oh my God, it's Russell Crowe!"

We mean OUR generation...
Daniel Day-Lewis is 53
Denzel Washington is 56
Johnny Depp is 47
Leonardo Dicaprio is 36
I win
Sorry, it's Daniel Day-Lewis
