I haven't yet seen it, but it was written by Nick Cave (of Nick Cave and the Bad Seeds) who also wrote The Proposition, which is one of the best recent Westerns.

Finally got around to watching Drive, which was amazing.

We should let the Danish make all of our movies, because they are way better at it than we are.

And yes The Departed sucked. He just kills everyone at the end, how is that not a cop out?

The Departed was actually a remake of Infernal Affairs, made in Hong Kong back in '02, so you can't really blame Scorsese if you didn't like it.

The Happening was probably the second worst movie I've seen in theaters. The worst was Dragon Wars (which I saw just to laugh at)

Spiderman was Amazing, pun intended. Great story, great special effects, and much better acting than the other spiderman movies. Best movie of the year IMO

It's actually based on "Candide" which was written by Voltaire. It is a really good book.
