Just read that Josh Gordon may face a season-long ban for another failed drug test...
That almost automatically translates to the Browns taking Lee or Latimer at #35...
And what do you think our FO does? You think they are not aware of our needs (probably way more than any of us fans)? And you frankly don't think they have a plan? That they don't say "Heck with our needs, who cares that we don't yet have a true RT and FS, we'll see what happens."? Do you really have such low confidence in our FO and coaches? Can't you imagine that they may have their plan working - even if you don't see it?
Maybe - but our next guaranteed chance to draft him would have been not a "few places later", but 32 places later. And if you have a chance to draft a player that's in your top 10 (and based on what they said, Mosley was in opur top 10), you probably don't risk a lot...
It's all because you people only know the short version of the mantra: "In Ozzie We Trust." The full version is: "In Ozzie We Trust - As Long As He Does What We Think Is Good."
We only have 3 tradable pick this draft - well, 2, because we've spent the first rounder. Honestly, I don't think we'll spend two of those on a trade... But also, I'm not part of the draft team, so there...
Stewart is much more a SS, and dunno about Omar Brown, but the guy had 3 seasons to prove himself and it never happened - although last season we had a natural SS at FS... that kinda doesn't sound like promising news on Baby Reed... But I'd be more than happy if this season he finally made it.
Who cares? It's drafting Pro-Bowl players that tells the story, apparently... just look at the sea of pro-bowlers the Broncos or the Pats drafted the last couple of years!
... and exactly what makes you think you could possibly know better than the complete Ravens draft team? Seriously. How? How much study have you made on the rookies? They have hundreds of hours. How much film have you seen? They saw lots of hours. And so on, and so forth... Seriously, guys... you think you're in any kind of grounds thinking for a second you may possibly know better? Really?
Just two notes from Mosley's draft profile video: - work ethic off the charts - intense film study So, a first-round pick Ravens linebacker who's a workout maniac and studies a huge lot of film. Sounds familiar?
OK, so far it turned out that Ozzie: - is too cheap (to trade) - is dumb - wasted the pick - made a pick that doesn't make sense etc... Is Bisciotti a complete moron? Insisting on Ozzie when we got all these guys who know so much better - from their couches?
Well, we'll see... We thought Dumervil would be a great addition for us - and he went on being just that. We also thought Huff would be a quality successor of Ed, and he went on being a huge bust... Let's hope this guy ends up in the Boldin/Jacoby/Monroe/Dumervil column, not in the Huff/Evans one.
You can choose from two options: 1.) Study the stats - both his and Gradkowski's; 2.) Read through the comments of this article - it's been explained multiple times how a #22 guy is an upgrade to a #35 (out of 35...) guy...
Haha, the guy has already changed his twitter account's background image to the Raven logo
If he's this quick on the field too, we can't lose on this trade
Well, the fact that Ozzie gave up draft a pick for him suggest that he at least has the promise... If he really has what it takes to start for us... he'll have the pre-season to prove himself.
Yeah, he was a solid C - but in 2012 he was 35 years old - and also, he had routinely had his knee drained in about every off-season his last couple of seasons. that's why he contemplated retirement the last 2-3 seasons. Zutta is only 27 and is relatively healthy. Of course he's more expensive.
