i dont have much confidence in the WR coach Engram to bring these young receivers up to NFL speed. perhaps this is the year the FO realizes Engram doesnt bring much to the coaching table. sure its easy to blame the WRs, but i see far less talented players on other teams producing. seems like the other teams just have a better position coach imo
in a year where there was a record number of trades in the draft, Ozzie made zero. i almost feel as tho other GMs got tired of getting fleeced by Ozzie over the years, so they didnt want to deal with him. let hope it works out.
Bryant is 1 strike away from getting the Josh Gordon treatment program, taking JuJu was smart for the steelers. Coates wasnt very impressive at all last year for them either.
i hate to say it, but i feel like Ozzie is getting outmaneuvered this draft. not to say our picks have been bad, but they could be better. time to wait and see for the season
We have 3 TEs already on the roster better than Howard. His numbers are pedestrian. I don't see what the big deal is with him. Too many people projecting him to be the next Gronk and hes just not that good.
Howard's numbers are unspectacular mostly due to how he was utilized at Bama, and the lack of any real talented QBs throwing the ball down there. Bama was mostly power run first team. Howard showed up big on the biggest games twice on the National championship stages
anyone but a WR at 16,unless they trade back a few spots to like 20. i just dont see any of the WRs worthy that high, and our WR track record is bad as the browns picking QBs. im all for trading back a few spots and picking up extra picks and someone like Ramzcyzk or the best available push rusher, then going for either Zay Jones or Kupp in the 2nd.
JAG you wont hear much about once they left the ravens, Wagner joins a long list of players... Adalius Thomas, Jarret Johnson, Ben Grubbs, Michael Oher, Art Jones, Pernell McPhee, Dannell Ellerbe... just to list a few that come to mind right away
thanks, but no thanks to Torrey. would like to see the Ravens go DB in the 1st, then pass rush in 2nd, hopefully get someone like Zay Jones or JuJu in the 3rd players who get go up fight for the 50/50 balls
